You don't put Yearby to throw in those conditions when your star QB is even struggling to throw in them. Good try. You played yourself.

And if you really HAD to call that play- you HAVE TO KNOW your personnel. Put in a guy who has actually played some QB at one point- Trayone Gray! He could have made a much better throw. The throw was bad because of who was throwing it.

and our star qb wasnt really struggling. he was doing well if not for the others around him.

By struggling I meant it wasn't as easy for him to make some of those throws. Those were tough conditions to play in even for him. A guy who doesn't throw the ball at all is clearly not going to succeed by any means in those conditions, on the run to his right.

These S.FL players are insanely overrated and were outplayed by 2* from Somoa today.

I'm not sure what your sports background is but far more goes into a play call besides the call itself. For instance personnel,play of said personnel etc. There was a ****** blizzard going on,kids hands are numb & it's flat out not the time to have anyone but the qb (who was playing a **** of a game as well) throw the ball. We had the athletes and we're getting open over the top all game on them.especially coley. No need at all to ask a running back who doesn't throw the ball & who has small frozen hands and has never even been exposed to that level of cold to make that b play. It's just stupid.

first off horrible call. its 1st and 10. inside opponents 40. 258 left in game. having a rb throw a pass is recipe for disaster in good weather. u can't expect them to throw like a qb. horrid call. cost miami sun bowl. rb's aren't qb's for a reason. yearby isn't a passer. now if they did it with gray who was a former qb in hs sure but they didn't.
