I believe this is a Mario problem. No reputable OC is coming here and not bring in his guys. Guys looking to come up in the ranks may bite but if they are successful they will be out first chance they get.

Not true. We were averaging 38-40 passes a game up until clemson. Dawson ran out of creativity. He was figured out. The qb play made it worse and it's been nothing but downhill from there.

But you're right on the reputable oc not coming here and likely no qb either.

I think it’s gonna take TVD going somewhere else next year and cooking to prove it.

It’s Dawson. Or Mario. Whoever’s fingerprints are making it look the way it looks. I see too many people wide open everywhere else on Saturdays to convince me that we can’t do something like that. I see WRs blanketed in coverage non stop.

I’mal also drunk so who knows. I go back and forth on who is at fault. It all looks horrible

I really don't like Dawson's route concepts. I don't think he optimizes spacing and he calls far too many sidelines verticals. TVD hit some back shoulders but those were well defended and bc he calls it so much, CBs sit on them and use the sideline.
 
Of course its Dawson. I told yall when we hired him he doesn't really run a air raid. I said it a million times his offense is more Ryan Day than Mike Leach. Its a bland offense that relies heavily on having playmakers we don't have.
 
We had to start 5 true Freshmen against the 4th ranked team in the country, in their stadium. We even had the ball at the end , 7 points down. Yet somehow the coaches lost us the game. Total B.S.
For all of our.coaches faults, real and contrived, the coaches did not loose us this game. Players with experience over the lack thereof , lost us this game.

Sometimes I wonder if Mario is more interested in propping up his OL’s PFF stats than scoring points. We run a **** ton of max protect with 3 man routes against 6-8 defenders in coverage. How can anyone get open against that? We are so afraid to give up sacks that we don’t even try to get people open
 
Anyone Pay attention to Dawson said regarding the No kneel vs GT? I called the play so he took blame. What he didn’t say was Mario didn’t want to kneel so of course if boss man doesn’t want to kneel you call the run whether you want to or not.
I’m gonna guess that sealed his mind of needing to get away from Marbro ball.
 
Now the qb situation is settled... TVD will close out the season... should make many here happy.
