It is Dawson

As I’ve been saying “ it’s the play calling , the offense and the Qb“? Putting it all on one player is a coping mechanism where it can’t be the one guy that’s not going anywhere. Just switch qb’s and everything will be fine lol. Well it’s two years of bad offense and there’s one consistent through every game.

[BGCOLOR=rgb(254, 254, 254)]There's legit no way in **** you can watch the opposing coach give his QB tons of easy looks and throws to keep the chains moving and NOT look at Dawson crazy.

Emory ain't all world but we legit put the kid in a blender.

We expect the kid to be pinpoint accurate on 3rd and long with no chemistry with the receivers and absolutely no play design to keep the defense from pinning their ears back.

Let's be objective here. Did we really think the kid was gonna light it up facing 3rd and long all **** game?

We run no tempo and it shows at the end of the game. Every time we have needed to go hurry up at the end of the game it takes an eternity to even get set. What do we practice? Because running dives and wr screens are all we do.

I’m almost at the point of saying, fk it, lean into bro-style if that’s what Mario wants.
Run the old GT triple option for all i care.

Just score points, dominate and win games and I could care less how it happens.

Dawson legit doesnt know to adjust in game. Becoming a clear pattern. Thats a bad bad sign. I legit hope he leaves at EOY. There is nothing special or good about him. Only seems like an upgrade cuz Gattis was so bad. But hes not good.

I agree. I think it's more on TVD and the QB's than Dawson, but I also think Dawson is good not elite, and if we can upgrade we should.

The defensive coordinator, on the other hand, is elite and we need to hang on to him.

Nah *** that. I gotta blame Mario. This his BS. I'm sorry. It just fits his MO

Y’all know like half of FSUs completions were on straight fades to Wilson or Coleman right lol. Wouldn’t exactly say they were lighting us up either. They certainly were more diverse in their screen game - in the sense that they’d throw them to Rbs and TEs.. but don’t think they threw any to WRs.

We also ran Better than they did for the most part. Well at least Chaney did. They were just selling out to stop run in second half and Dawson didn’t adjust.

the QBS can't do anything with the plays he calls. The series where he calls 3 straight runs into the defense are headscratching. How about the last minute? What's with the run? TVD just completed two straight passes.

Dawson is awful

It’s Dawson.

Mario hired Dawson based off of what Mario wants. He and Dawson agree on the offensive philosophy. Otherwise Dawson wouldn’t be at Miami. Ultimately Mario is the problem but Dawson is a mediocre journeyman OC.

The QBs aren’t talented enough. I say upgrade both the players and the coordinator

I agree we have an issue with all three but I have to hope the coach’s call the game they way they do because they know how bad our QB and wide receivers are. Also agree they need to scheme up a way to get the ball in our best players hands. The offense is frustrating from all angles.

Some things here.

Dawson had to tell Mario he will not sling it all over the place for the job.
He did not have his choice of WR coach, OL coach, or RB coach. (Much like Gattis all assistants hired before they were)

I believe this is a Mario problem. No reputable OC is coming here and not bring in his guys. Guys looking to come up in the ranks may bite but if they are successful they will be out first chance they get.
I mean Mario/Mirabel handed Dawson an ELITE O line. Better than any OC could ever ask for. And enough decent weapons to do damage in the ACC. Most OC's would be thrilled walking into team with the talent we have

Dawson legit sucks, not sure why people want to defend him.

I think what I've learned the past few games is the QB play is a major problem and Dawson isn't good enough to overcome it. That's all this is. He's not good enough to know what to do.

Except it hasn't been every game. It didn't look this way in the beginning of this year. Which is the $1M mystery.

So it's either:

-The bad QB play has completely neutralized Dawson.
Or
-Mario took a well functioning offense that he initially allowed to be well functioning and destroyed it in the middle of the year for some reason

One of those is way more realistic than the other. I don't think Dawson is creative enough to power through bad QB play.
