It is Dawson

Except it hasn't been every game. It didn't look this way in the beginning of this year. Which is the $1M mystery.

So it's either:

-The bad QB play has completely neutralized Dawson.
Or
-Mario took a well functioning offense that he initially allowed to be well functioning and destroyed it in the middle of the year for some reason

One of those is way more realistic than the other. I don't think Dawson is creative enough to power through bad QB play.
other than A&M what p5 opponent have we looked good against ?

I don’t recall any red zone targets to Young.
Zero TE targets.
Way too much rush attempts out of 12 personnel when 10/2x2 was killing FSU.
I've mentioned several times on record that the strength of this fuqin team is 10 personnel. Especially in twins spread. It makes our rush game that much more lethal isolating our Rb on their LB. We had a lot to work with. Let it go FOR NO reason

That's not the issue. If we played 1 or 15 P5 teams why did it eventually change and what caused it to change? That offense was great and I think the issue is when the QB play is good Dawson's offense looks good. But when it's not he has no answer.

And I think Mario has had input in the strategy once it was obvious we couldn't pass. I think they are trying to keep games close and burn clock now. And it hasn't been a bad strategy, given the QB play. What we've needed from Dawson are a handful of really good drives, that are all a result of OC scheming, that can get us points. He can't do that.

The offense changed after the Texas A & M game and the break before Ga Tech, they reinstalled the cave man offense.

Why would an air raid type coordinator change what he is trained to do? Answer see the head coach.

Dawson legit doesnt know to adjust in game. Becoming a clear pattern. Thats a bad bad sign. I legit hope he leaves at EOY. There is nothing special or good about him. Only seems like an upgrade cuz Gattis was so bad. But hes not good.
Whatever gave u that idea? Was it the 5th time you saw the tunnel screen…. outta the same formation? That play goes for good yardage once a game. After then, try to pop one over the top with the slot WR faking the block on the CB. Then put that **** on the shelf. Not us, we pick up 20yds early in the game, and u gone see that **** 5 more times in the game, whether it’s successful or nah.

Our QB play sheet in this offense.

FSU's bro style beat our bro style. FSU called a few more pass plays but they called the appropriate ones. Wish our HC and OC would've had the balls to do the same.

All signs point toward Mario resisting a CEO type role which is bad news for us. It may not be true, but I’m running with the narrative that Mario does not want an innovative offense and prefers to just “out tough” opponents by imposing our will on them. He wants his offense run no matter what. At this point, I say cut Alonzo loose because I’m not sure what that dude is doing behind the scenes. It looks and sounds like nothing

I got a bad feeling.

I fear Elon Musk maybe has another college favorite, and somehow slipped Mario or HIS OC - OR BOTH - that Neurolink chip implant and is jerking us around from his computer. "Up the middle." "Up the middle" "Tight formation, Up the Middle." "Tighter formation, Up the Middle."

Otherwise - no idiot would keep going to the same dry well - time after time after time.
