We know what we have in Mario.

He is a proven commodity.

When he gets rolling, he will field a team team that consistently wins 9-12 games because of his recruiting and leadership.

Our emotions want us to hit the panic button, but that’s just fans being fans.

Mario is a Richt in his prime level coach. The question is will his flaws prevent us from being a national champion?

It’s funny you say that since he‘s only won 10 games or more twice in his 10 year coaching career, 9 or more games 3 times. hes Also proven to lose to inferior teams, be a poor game day coach, and waste talent advantages.

you Can also give up that NC hope right now…

I'm getting at the fact we have no influence over what happens. We can assume it will get better or not, but we can't do anything more than talk and have feelings about the situation.

What I am saying is that this roster is nowhere near elite. What I am saying is that this staff will not remain intact.
There will be firings and hirings and adjustments and transfers.
And we have a coach that has been through all of that. And we have a coach that can recruit at the level we need to get there.
But everyone in here acting like it’s a wrap sounds so stupid.
And history proves that you guys have just as many excuses in trying to be right as the people making excuses for the loss.
This is why Vegas always wins and yet every year we hear “I’m hammering the over”.
Reality is a tuff pill to swallow and reality has been that for many years this team has had subpar talent all over and inadequate depth.

I’ve called so many “day one” picks the past few years so I’m also blind AF.

I hate Bama and hate uga. But those teams weren’t built overnight.
Again, it’s nexcusable to not only lose but lose that bad last week. But it doesn’t mean this sht is over.

And for all you mongoloides thinking we’re close take a look at the players in this game. How many players on our team right now would’ve seen playing time here:

And it still took uga another 4 years to finally win.
Yet some of y’all are ready to quit already.

Ironically you have the same delusion as Mario. You think you can cheerlead your way to a title. None of what you're saying matters when you have a ultra conservative caveman analog HC in an offensive digital era who struggles with gameday coaching basics. But hey maybe if the fans just "Believe" we can do it it will happen

I'm tired of the coach speak. Results happen on the field on Saturday. We've been playing and recruiting like a G5 program for the last 20 years, so perhaps it's time to embrace it. The youth movement needs to start now and build... It's time for the head coach to quit making excuses and find football players and coaches who show up on Saturday.

Long past the point where other fanbases now use losses to Miami lime they do bottom tier G5 schools.

When our Canes now beat a D1 opponent, its equivalent to App St (who are we kidding they would destroy this team) beating AtM or some VT consistently losing to JMU.

JFC the program is in shambles, again.

We have more talent then MTSU. Also teams with less talent look far more competent then we do. All we as fans want is the guys we do have to be put in a position to win. Maximizing what we do have. 4 games in & it hasn’t happened. We wouldn’t win the costal with Bama’s roster playing this style of football. Talent won’t matter unless Mario evolves. Which he won’t. So prepare for more suffering. I’ve grown to love it.

Great, slightly above average would be 8-4 based on the fact this program has averaged 7-5 every year going back to 2006 (118-85 since 2005 Peach Bowl debacle.)

21-15 under Diaz, 28-24 since Richt's 10-0 start—which saw Richt going 7-9 before stepping down.

Destroyed by Alabama, Clemson and North Carolina past two years. Lost to FIU, Duke and Louisiana Tech in Manny's first year.

2-4 out the gate last season and out of the ACC hunt by mid-October.

We're really shocked that last year's roster isn't delivering—when it only got to 7-5 based on miraculous quarterback play from a back-up?

If TVD was merely average and not other-worldly, Miami goes 4-8 last season—and that's WITH Rambo, Harley, etc.

I’m saying why do keep rationalizing bad losses because some famous coach had one? Mario **** the bed Saturday. Miss me with all the TVD nonsense and the rest of the crap being thrown around. I can maybe overlook A&M or losing to Clemson. It’s year 1. But Middle Tennessee State? Mario is getting paid top ten HC money, you don’t lose this game.

I’m not jumping off the Mario bandwagon but the mental gymnastics this fanbase goes through sometimes is absurd.

According to the sites yes we do. But like I always say normal jag teams can beat u when I recruit badly. Say for instance Ivey is a four star who no elite dB schools were after (we can guess why)......Ivey gets burned by a straight line runner two star.....that’s a huge weakness a fast two star can run by Ivey which makes him not good. His four star is basically a one star talent wise with a five star frame. U can take a teams weakness and use it against them, we have glaring holes GLARING. u can lose to anyone when u trot out the OL we have weaknesses at corner and linebacker, we have no speed rushers which give teams with basic qbs time as well. There are so many issues with this roster it’s insane. I don’t understand how most don’t see it. Any game is a flip of the coin, should we have beat MTU? Yea but ima believer in dominant talent to become dominant on the field not the other way around.

I have seen the rise of the cream of the crop throughout the years, and it’s always been recruiting elite players for two to three years then start to dominate. I haven’t seen let’s win first then win multiple natties, unless the place that HC went to was already in stack mode
