Is Toney the GOAT UM Freshman?

Ohhhh put some respect on Portis name too!! He was nice as a freshman too!!

Duke’s first game


Duke Johnson's first game against Boston College was on September 1, 2012, where he rushed for 135 yards and two touchdowns to lead Miami to a 41-32 victory. His performance included two long touchdown runs of 54 and 56 yards, and he also had 214 all-purpose yards. For his efforts, Johnson was named the ACC Rookie of the Week
 
True freshman? Yeah. He’s also the best player we’ve had period since Duke Johnson. Offensive, at least.

I don’t think we lose this game either way but the 4th down catch he had was insane and it’ll just show in the box score as a 10 yard run or whatever it was but the jet sweep he had was on 2nd down and almost any other player in America falls down for an 8 yard loss there, we likely kick a FG after a 3rd and very long. But his balance is otherworldly, and he gets a first down. Two plays that aren’t gigantic in the box score but were massive for the game. He’s special, and that word gets overused but he deserves it. He’s a special player and we’re so lucky to have him. He’s at worst the 2nd best football player on the team and he turned 18 about 20 minutes ago. Insane talent.

I remember that game, I said yeah he's the real deal and will be the anchor of our offense soon

It’s the feet. I know it ties into contact balance but his feet are ******* insane. Has he taken anything even resembling a hard hit all season? “Make you miss in a phone booth” is some real *** ****. Just watch those returns and do nothing but watch the feet. His contact balance is so good because you’re never square with him, he’s so ******* quick he’s half by you before you can hit him.

Duke is the best freshman and player I've personally witnessed but Toney is right there on his heels. If he can somehow get 1300+ all-purpose yards and 8 more TDs in these last 5 games then I'm all for crowning him.
