Is there any player on current team

you are looking at these guys with this staff.....Tracey was the best in south FL he like other dbs here have sucked under this staff...

yearby is a stud from South FL...he could have seen playing time I think he will be better than Geather or Payton both of them saw the field

Tracey is to slow and was way n overated out of high school . The draft and combine will prove this.
Yes yearby would have seen mop up duty. Not even close to starting. Jason gathers was a great athlete. Never found the right position for him. He has many arena league records. Shows how good that team was.

I think you will see Tracey be a solid player at the next level..again I thought Ices kid Brandon was going to be a stud

Draft and combine aren't the end all be all. I take a lot more stock in the fact that this coaching staff is making players worse than I do on where they are getting drafted. Chick, Seantrell, and Dorsett are all great examples of guys who were far better than they appeared here.

apples and oranges OP....this would've been a better question if these boys have been receiving proper coaching. there's no doubt in mind that if saban or meyers were here coaching these kids, we would be having another chip in our trophy case and we would've had 4 players drafted in the first round. unfortunately, our kids talents are being limited due to faulty coaching, so we don't know if they could've started for that team or not.

There are a lot of Miami greats who would not have started on THAT team. Asking if any of today players would start is simply unfair, considering even ST, Winslow, so many other on the team could not start. A better question is could any of Al's coaches even get in the stadium with a ticket, except of course Art and the other Canes.
 
There are a lot of players who wouldn't have started on that team from any college.... Bama, lsu, fsu included.... It was the greatest team of all time. Sean Taylor sat the Bench...

Grace. Vilma, DJ Williams (Sam) and Grace (will) would be a tough group of linebackers. I think that combination would best any group of linebackers other than the Bermuda Triangle.
