Is Keyshawn Smith our best WR

The catch that wasn’t a catch in the bowl...the 3 PiS he drew..jumped off the screen..man like I said we’ll see what happens in his spring at WR. Idc who steps up at the X or Y..but I’m **** sure ready for the favoritism debate if it doesn’t end being who y’all think it should be
It's OK if you can't see it. You'll see it afterward like most other people do. You're one of those dudes who is just now getting on the Yeezy 350's. I'd love to sit down with you one day and watch a game with you and show you what to look for.

I’m shocked people think it’s crazy to think coaches actually show favoritism to upperclassman. I mean have you been around football or played ? It 100 % goes on and most definitely under this staff. Boards isn’t the only place hits is discussed. I’ll just leave it at that.
Never happens. Coaches are infallible and never fck up. That's why they all win championships all the time and never get fired.

Yeah I wasn’t saying X was better than anyone. Just was calling out Macho to see if he had some info due to his frustration at getting ZERO burn.

But are u saying that the HC doesn’t have the final decision on personnel? if he doesn’t have the final decision on almost everything... then he’s not a head coach and just a figurehead
When it comes to snap counts at positions no. Especially not during the game..especially minuscule snaps..other than a QB switch...that’s on the PC..also take into account as me and @DTP Have said there are 3 different WR positions. For the most part 6 and 8 held down X, Y most the szn with guys like 12, 83 mixed in..experience and a whole off szn will do the youngins good

Like I said before..the whole Covid situation was gonna make it tough for any of the freshman WR to produce and see heavy burn..again y’all seem to conveniently act like this was a normal situation all year..but This will tell me all I need to know..we’re you one of the one clamoring for Lingard in 19? Yes or no

Why does the seniority/favoritism keep happening then? The only constant is Manure. Coincidence?

Bruh..y’all literally sit here and ignore facts. It started with the Greg/patchan debate..Fact ignored: Greg had a back issue in fall camp that limited him..now it’s the WRs. Let’s again just ignore the facts of the 2020 szn that would make it tough for a TF to play 40 plus snaps..

let’s also ignore this is the same coach that started a RS Fresh QB..3 TF LBs as the DC/LB coach and a TF LT that was 2 star weighing 260 vs UF opening game with but it’s all seniority with him...now my favorite, let’s ignore the actual fact that Position coaches decide who they are Gunna sub in and out on game day..call me crazy but I thought that was a pretty well known fact for a fan in a sport that fields 60 plus playable options any given day..

but given the fact that this the same fan base who believes Cooney is behind the “favoritism” 8 and 6 receive. Wanted 3 to be benched and shown the pink slip by week 4 and swore up and down that Hickson by way of manny was hiding a heisman candidate in LO buried on the Depth chart..I’m not surprised 3 PIs and a catch made out of bounds by a D1 WR is the bases of this argument that pertains to the 2020 WR situation.

When a Narrative needs backing CIS favorite backing is Favoritism/seniority

Just a hunch but you’ll finally see younger guys taking over more positions this year , especially on o.
Top 3 pass catchers will be Harley, Mallory, Rambo..I feel pretty confident on that.

I think on the oline it’s pretty clear with the talk that they are tryna give rivers a crack at a job

at RB I think it’s gunna be a 3 headed situation UNLESS one of the youngins really show they *** this spring..my money would be on Rooster taking the biggest step. I think the game will really slow down for him..Cam is steady. Don all around Has special 3 dwn back potential, just some little nuances he needs to get better at I.E footwork

Here’s my question...I assume u played..at a position like WR does the HC have absolutely final say on game day about who that particular coach subs in?..and how does a coach who didn’t recruit anyone in that room (except for Key, go figure) possibly automatically have favorites

There's actually plenty of information if you're paying attention. When you know football, you see one WR constantly getting open in his very limited reps and making great plays on the ball and jumping off the screen, and you see the same two guys getting abused by freshman CBs and dropping passes at record numbers.
You have game clips on this or is this based off the PI Key drew down field? You talk like you really broke down the whole 22 tape from your arm chair?

Here’s a fact... Rousseau was cleared to play game 1. Yeah I agree with slow playing him just in case, but he was leading the team in sacks by game 3 (maybe before) and the excuse was some crap about 3rd downs or something. It was blatant seniority. Like I said that was the most head scratching and egregious.

I like it... I don’t care who’s responsible for seeing the light and playing the best players... but I like it!

What about the other instances? Seniority or are we just picking and choosing to back a narrative?

Fun fact tho. Patchan was on pass for double digits at at CU

Off top of my head... McCloud & Knowles ... but I have a bad memory as I mentioned before and too lazy to look up roosters after a long day.

That’s cool about Patchan tho. I def have no ill will towards the guy and he made a smart move to transfer to get more playing time. It’s just that he shouldn’t have been starting over Rousseau. Glad to hear he’s doing well and will continue to since he got another year

It’s been happening since Coker. It’s a signature flaw of insecure, weak coaches. Playing the less experienced kid is generally scarier, especially if you’re on the hot seat. Because if it doesn’t work out, you’ll get blamed for the decision. It takes confidence and coaching ability to consistently make that choice without bias, both of which our coaches have lacked for ages.

HC has final say over EVERYTHING. You guys think position coaches can overrule a HC? Come on.

We are one dominant receiver away from having an elite offense.. we just need one to step up and win on the outside consistently
