Is Keyshawn Smith our best WR

LOL. So now it's degenerated to the point that a guy who had COVID for a week never practiced all year? You guys are ridiculous.

No the majority of spring and fall practice was cancelled for everyone last season. Plus the mid season team stoppage for COVID during the season then more time off for any specific player who tested positive.

True freshmen have it hard enough if they come in for a full slate of practices. Getting them up to speed under those circumstances is nearly impossible.

How much practice does a kid who’s been playing WR all his life need to learn a couple routes?

You guys way overestimate the need for apprenticing at WR. It’s an easy position for a guy like Smith in an easy offense like ours. We ain’t teaching him the Bill Walsh West Coast Offense.

Did Oklahoma have to cancel huge portions of their spring and fall practices? In season too? Did Mims have COVID during the season?

You're right. Miami was the only team that cancelled practices and had to deal with covid-19....

Meanwhile in college football last season:

Pitt WR Jordan Addison (who also missed time with COVID), and his 60 catch TF performance. You might remember him, though. He had 8 catches for 147 against us last year.

WR Parker Washington at PSU....

Rakim Jarret in 4 games at Maryland....

Nah, not yet with the way the question is asked. Potentially, sure, but Rambo and Harley might have a word in that. He's all potential right now, that's it. I liked the little bit he flashed, but he's got a long way to go before he tops the chart here.

Smith BETTER be our best receiver....cause if he can't beat out Pope and Wiggins it will mean he's straight garbage and we're even farther away from fixing that positional depth chart than we all realize.

So the answer is no.

So the answer is no.

You're just being obtuse now, but I'll answer your questions to highlight the absurdity of your position (notwithstanding your complete inability to provide a straight answer to my questions earlier in this thread).

Yes, Oklahoma canceled a large portion of its spring and summer practices.
Yes, Oklahoma shortened its schedule and missed games, as well as fall practices. If you recall, the Big12 had actually decided to cancel or postpone its 2020 season to the spring of 2021. The Big 12 didn't even decide to play in 2020 until mid-September. So, yeah, they lost quite a bit of practice time.
Did Mims test positive for COVID or get contact traced out of games? Not that I am aware of and it seems like he was able to suit up every week.

But if that is what you want to hang your hat on... is Jordan Addison another TF WR on a team that had to cancel spring and fall practices and who also missed time because of COVID, but still greatly outperformed nearly every WR on our roster? Yes.

Oklahoma had huge issues with COVID. In fact, most programs had bigger COVID issues than we did.

He must have forgotten that the Big 12 initially voted to cancel or postpone it's entire 2020 season and didn't decide to play until five weeks later in mid-September. They didn't just lose most of their spring practices, they lost a huge chunk of their summer, too.

So the answer is no.
The answer is no if you want to act like a snippy queen.

Get those long fingernails going wagging your finger in my face, adjust your wig, and say it super sassy: So the answer is no, bytch!! And then turn away really quickly and sashay out of the room extra fierce swinging your hips back and forth. You win the point EVERY time that way, Miss Girl.
