Is It Me, Or Does It Seem...

No it's not just you.....I mean I feel that we have a great class we addressed so many areas of need. But a lot of our fan-base isn't happy unless we' had the number 1 class

Well, there is a hangover period for some folks when they see we are third to UF and FSU in recruiting. "Yay! Great class! Just not as good as anyone else" kinda thing

I do not feel that way, I think we really did great, and if they are coached up, compared to the job dullards Muschump and Jimbo do, we are fine

that some people aren't excited about the recruiting class?

8 years of nothing will do this to a fan base... We have seen this before, so some are taking a wait and see approach to everything related to Miami football.

Love the class, good mix of hard workers and star power. Kids like Howard, Bush, and Duke will contribute immediately.

We have Kirby and Witt here early and they will likely contribute on ST's and get some Burn at LB. Filled the huge voids we had at WR and CB and got difference makers there while we were at it.

Didn't bring in a blue chipper at QB, but have 3 kids signed and took care ofdepth concerns, and got 2 of them in early. I actually think Dewey will be better than where he was ranked.

I love the class. The new regime has the fan base excited and slowly pulling them out of the ShannonCokerization that took place for almost a decade. Some don't want to believe in the new guy but they will soon come to realize he is the real deal and the winning is coming.

+1.

I'd also like to add that we filled in depth at the DT position with an emphasis on big strong NT types this year. I'm really excited to see how happy Barrow and Jethro were about getting Briscoe and especially Ivery. I really like Moore personally.

We added 10+ guys who have star power right now. Dewey, Howard, Bush, Duke, Lewis, AJL, Lockhart, Flowers, McCord, Hamilton, Witt, and Kirby are all big time prospects. I see alot of upside in all the other recruits in this class. I feel that this class when all is said and done will accomplish far more in colllege, as a team and individually and in college than the 2008 class.

When I think of this class one word comes to mind: FOUNDATION

I went to sleep with a smile on my face knowing we secured a balanced class full of kids who seem MOTIVATED and EXCITED to be part of the Cane fam.

The most satisfying thing to me, compared to years past, is that this class was genuinely constructed over a 10-12 month period. We started strong and even though we had some natural attrition, this staff battled and persisted from Day 1. There are 0 holes to be found on that class list. Take a look. Local kids, positions of need, healthy competition, pride. How could you not love that?

Where did that quote come from that is attributed to me, Cimino

you just posted it....u forgot already? smh

you might have alzheimers, but at least you don't have alzheimers

sigmar is good people.

sigmar is good people.

wait.....what are we talking about?

If you aren't excited about this class, you are a star ***** plain and simple. If you dont get the bigger picture, the only thing you have gathered about our class is the two clicks it took you to filter our commits by national rating.

Golden did his thing.. No more catalog shopping.

I love when he said that. Coker was known to recruit of all rvials/scout and Randy recruited from HS's he felt 'comfortable' going too. Golden goes after good players, regardless of where in the state they are and/or they are committed elsewhere

To me, this is the most impressive NSD class I remember at Miami considering everything that the staff had going against them. Al Golden has a plan, he knows what and who he wants and he goes out there and battles to the end for them. Very impressive what this staff was able to do.
