Is FSU Actually Good?

Just a few thoughts.

1. FSU is one dimensional on offense. fr. Not sure why some of you are nervous. In Heatherman I trust to come up with gameplan to blow up their offense. We get a bye after the game, so we will be hulk smashing everythng that night.
2. Their defense won’t be able to stand up to our oline. Thats how you take the crowd out of it right away too. Just hammer them with the run. Be sure to mix in some more counters and an end around too.
3. UVA isn’t that good either. So don’t prop up FSU if they win that one, regardless of score.
4. As for me and my house, we will stand on business that always hopes for FSU, UF and ND get curb stomped each weekend. Let FSU go winless from here on out. Let next weekend be another game where half of america tunes out after the 1st half because its a dominating win by Miami. I’ll take the strength of schedule hit if it means FSU doesn’t win another game all year, starting with UVA.

This +1M.

If they go winless from here on out, we should be smiling from ear to ear. Never ever ever want to see uf, fsu, or nd win a game.

Miami will open -4.5 on one of the big two sportsbooks.

TBD on the other one for a few more hours.

First opinion, FanDuel. DraftKings in a few hours.

I didn't quite say they are slow. What Wes and Mo lack is good lateral quickness. I think they are great from a moving forward attacking perspective but side to side is more challenging. Against a guy like TC, those LBs have to have their head on a swivel. Scott is going to be critical.
What about Popo? He made two huge plays on the outside against Love. One of the quicker backs we will see.

Line just ticked down to -6.5 for Friday night, as I expected. Don't be shocked to see it at 6 before kickoff.

Chandler Morris is very, very capable and will not be afraid. Dude is like 33 years old, and can really move. Very, very good passer and can beat you with his feet, too. They're going to get 30+ on FSU.

Chase and Wiley can run with anyone they have. Of course Mario tightens rotations in these games, but Chase should get high snaps in this game. Mo should be fine. Castellanos is not fast, he has a really quick burst for 10 yards, top speed quick. I think FSU has to run playbook not on tape or trickery early. I think we are about to contain them, easily. They break a few 20 yarder's, but all in all, they don't do much. They look decent for a drive or 2 early and then they know. They have to throw the kitchen sink at us to try and win this game. Tricks and misdirection is all they will have. Their will be some hitting and their depth will catch them in the 2nd half against us.

Eh, lol.
I don’t think anyone on our roster on D can run with Lucas/Danzy, def not two 230+ LB’s.

Only thing better about their offense is malzahn runs a lot of gimmicks. As Mandy diaz showed gimmicks work. I fully expect this game to play out no different then it did when lashlee was here and we lined up against dudes who simply got physical and whooped the man across from them. Gimmicks don't work against physicality 9 out of 10. Also to pay attention to the stats they've put up makes zero sense as they've played absolutely no one except a basic bama squad. Other two games were throw aways. I don't take away the speed that they have. However let's not act like we haven't overall played **** good against the run. They're gonna try to get outside on us and that's the key. Communicate well, play disciplined football and don't let pre snap motion take you off your keys. Spy this lil **** & we're good to go. I can't see any way we don't beat them by three touchdowns or so. Not being ****y just being honest. Long as we're disciplined and communicate well this is no different from USF.
This is exactly what I was thinking of FSU similar to lashlee going against a big boy defense when clemson was clemson on defense. Or manny Diaz going against Bama. Teams instantly get out physically matched and you can tell after the 1st quarter how its going to go that game. Their trenches are nowhere close to UF or ND either and we all know the beat down that happened in those match ups

Chase can't and Wiley won't play

Most often that's the kind of "speed" that matters in football.

Cam ward was not able to throw a touchdown pass against them last year. Just saying

Selfishly, I will be rooting for FSU against Virginia. I want FSU to blow them out.

I want their fans to feel that high and rush coming into our game and we punish them. After we punish them, I want them to spiral and loose the next 5 lol

With all due respect, and there isn't that much due, why would anyone prefer us beating a 1 loss FSU team to us crushing the dreams of an undefeated FSU team? The argument is as old as time but it's never made any sense.
