Is Carson Beck officially a Canes legend?

He had his chance to be a legend and he didn't deliver. People dream of getting opportunities like that and only very few ever get them. If he would have delivered he would absolutely be a legend and would be debated if he was the GOAT QB at Miami for winning an NC in the playoff era with the schedule we had to go through. At it is he'll be remembered for helping to get us to the natty but also for that last throw. Sucks he has to live with that forever but that's on him.

This is good 1980 forward list for Miami QBs and rankings, but no Bernie? Come on now

As for Beck. That’s our guy and he wasn’t a punk and he put it all out there. Did some good and some bad but mannnnnnn that’s our QB. No one gets to say one ******* bad thing about him other than us lol

But no, not a legend. However, I thank him for the best year being a Hurricanes fan since 2002. There a lot of others I’d like to thank for that but this is about Beck lol

Good player will always be remembered for being on the team that brought us back to prominence but a cane legend?

No... Beck is not a Canes legend. He threw 3 interceptions... each on the final offensive play in all 3 of our losses. He is a guy that QB'd the team to the national title game and gets credit for winning the Ole Miss game. That was his legacy game and his legacy ends there.

It sucks the national championship ended the way that it did, because unfortunately, some of our fans will never get over that interception. What will get lost in the shuffle is that one could argue he outplayed Mendoza until that final throw.

Thank you for everything, Carson. The memory of you running it in against Ole Miss will forever be ingrained in my brain.

While everyone is entitled to their own opinion they are not entitled their own facts.
What do you mean he accomplished way more than him at Miami?
 
Shout out to Carson Beck! Haven’t seen a Miami qb lead a team to the championship game since Dorsey

Um, No, not even close. He played one year for us and cost us two games, including a chance at a National Title. Don’t have anything against him and he had his moments but if we’re calling him a legend there’s tons of other former players that need to be added to the list as well.

beck isnt a legend. he did represent the program well and made some big time plays in the playoffs. at the end of the day, the D and run game carried beck and the team

Yes he is a Canes legend I don’t know what the **** you all are talking about and you guys should be ashamed of yourselves that say he is not
