to be honest, Beck is more of a legend AT MIAMI than Cam Ward was.
This is good 1980 forward list for Miami QBs and rankings, but no Bernie? Come on nowMy list of Cane all time Qbs

-Walsh/Kelly/KosarLawd I forgot Kosar, insert him somewhere in that list.
Please explain?to be honest, Beck is more of a legend AT MIAMI than Cam Ward was.
That last part.If he was a real legend he would breed with the Cavinder girl and create some athletic specimen, name it We (We Beck - a little play on from We Back), train him to play QB and commit to Miami as his first words, and he would win 3 titles in a row before going to the NFL.
No... Beck is not a Canes legend. He threw 3 interceptions... each on the final offensive play in all 3 of our losses. He is a guy that QB'd the team to the national title game and gets credit for winning the Ole Miss game. That was his legacy game and his legacy ends there.
While everyone is entitled to their own opinion they are not entitled their own facts. To an entire generation of UM fans — anyone under the age of 30 — he’s the 2nd best quarterback to suit up for the Canes.
And while he’s NOT more talented than Ward, he accomplished way more than him at Miami. That’s not Ward’s fault, but it is the reality.
Ward will be remembered for silencing the Swamp and that comeback win against Cal. Cool memories? Sure. But nothing monumental.
Beck will be remembered for guiding us through a grueling playoff run, with awesome performances in the Ohio State and Ole Miss games.
He’s a true Cane and deserves more respect than some in this fan base give him.
It sucks the national championship ended the way that it did, because unfortunately, some of our fans will never get over that interception. What will get lost in the shuffle is that one could argue he outplayed Mendoza until that final throw.
Thank you for everything, Carson. The memory of you running it in against Ole Miss will forever be ingrained in my brain.
Ngl to me, that’s like saying Marcel Reed is a bigger legend at A&M than Johnny Manziel bc he made the playoff and Manziel didn’tto be honest, Beck is more of a legend AT MIAMI than Cam Ward was.
Cam had the best qb season and led our best offense ever here, was a heisman finalist, All American, O'Brien and Manning award for best qb..And was just way better, how is it closeto be honest, Beck is more of a legend AT MIAMI than Cam Ward was.
Better than Kelly and Testaverde?cam is 1. he was our best QB ever imo.
beck isnt a legend. he did represent the program well and made some big time plays in the playoffs. at the end of the day, the D and run game carried beck and the team
Yeah I acknowledged that I forgot Kosar he clearly should be high on anyone's listThis is good 1980 forward list for Miami QBs and rankings, but no Bernie? Come on now
As for Beck. That’s our guy and he wasn’t a punk and he put it all out there. Did some good and some bad but mannnnnnn that’s our QB. No one gets to say one ******* bad thing about him other than us lol
But no, not a legend. However, I thank him for the best year being a Hurricanes fan since 2002. There a lot of others I’d like to thank for that but this is about Beck lol
