Is Brad Kaaya having the best season ever for a true frosh?

How many other teams had such a screwed up recruiting mess at the QB position that it forced them to start a true freshman? Thanks Randy, thanks Al.

I think the fact he was an option QB makes a huge difference. This comparison should be made with true frosh qbs that actually threw the ball and not playing as an extra running back.

This kid is really special. Don't get tired if talking about him.

nice call??? He went back to the 80's to find an option qb who I'm almost positive completed less than 30 passes the entire season at OU. As the OP said you're going to be hard pressed to find a true freshman qb who isn't an athlete and is doing what BK is doing primarily by sitting in the pocket and slinging the ball around.
 
The fact that you really have to research it should be evidence enough that the young kid is having a special season. I'll wait for him to finish before making that assessment!

Conference USA defenses though? Sure Miami is in the ACC but the schedule has been at least decent.

I don't know.. Ken Dorsey had some pretty sick stats both his Junior & Senior season here.

Tough call.

You guys are professionals at making excuses. When Folden took over he had a senior to be quarterback in Harris and a sophomore in Morris. Harris started Foldens first year. Morris started Foldens 2nd and 3rd years. The fact that he is starting a true freshman in his fourth year is entirely his fault. The sorry son of a Beeeyatch had for years to recruit his quarterbacks.

Let's look at the facts. What happened to Grey Crow? What happened to Dewey whatever? What happened to David Thompson? I guess that's Randy Shannon s fault too. LMAO

Off the top of my head RG3 had a pretty ridiculous true freshman season at Baylor. I don't know how it stacks up statistically to Kaaya's though. I don't have the time to look it up, but I'd like to see a comparison if someone has the time. Thanks!

Started 11/12 games - 2091 yds, 15 TDs, 3 INTs, 59.9 comp %

Though he did enroll early for Spring Ball and Kaaya did not.
