I cant find very many, if any, true freshman QBs that had the kind of season statically that Kaaya is having. He's already about to pass Christian Hackenberg in most categories and his ypa is 2 yards higher. Jared goff had a pretty good freshman season at cal but he's in the air raid and Kaaya still has better numbers. Deshaun Watson is Ballin but he's been hurt so at least statistically Kaaya should beat him out.

This kid has feet that look like there weighed down with cement when he runs to boot. He's gunna run a Tom Brady like 40 at the NFL combine. Most young QBs who are successful early generally have wheels, legs to fall back on. Kaaya is doing with his accuracy, getting through his progressions, checking plays at the line. It's pretty ridiculous what he's doing at such a early stage in his career.

OFFENSE
QB Johnny Manziel, Texas A&M
Johnny Football
Year: 2012
Buzz: He became the first freshman to win the Heisman and it came on the heels of a phenomenal campaign. Manziel threw for 3,706 yards and 26 TDs (with a 68.0 completion percentage) and also ran for 1,410 yards and 21 TDs -- making him responsible for 5,116 yards (an SEC single-season record) and 47 TDs. His yardage in total offense is an FBS record for freshmen, and the rushing total is an FBS record for freshman quarterbacks.

Talk about best frosh QB ever is silly, fantasy stuff. Having said that, Manziel won Heisman as a redshirt frosh. And the notion that Deshaun Watson is having a much better year than Kaaya is wrong. Kaaya has started every game, including tough road games at Louisville, Nebraska, Ga Tech (unfortunately losses, though doesn't bare total blame). He won the job outright. Watson didn't start till the fourth game and because of injury has only three starts. He hasn't started a game on the road. First road test is Saturday at Ga Tech.

TRUE freshman people, the man said TRUE freshman
