is anyone else uncomfortably confident?

Canes roll! This is a bad match up for IU. truthfully, the way we are playing we are a bad match up for everyone! As long as we don't get cute and waste possessions with dumb trick plays and we execute where we have obvious advantages and don't turn the ball over, we win this game.

Same for IU as it has been for CFP and ND. On D stop the run, make the QB uncomfortable and challenge him to make throws, hopefully bad. Be physical.

On O, establish the run, control the clock, pass efficiently and have the WRs block downfield, If Beck can run RUN! Be physical.

I had deep, deep concern over Ole Miss but thought we could pull it off.

It sounds insane but is this our easiest game of the playoff?

Texas A&M on the road coming off a devastating loss to an in-state rival, they were desperate.

Defending Champ Oh St with the best statistical defense in a decade (?maybe more?)

Ole Miss with god-mode Chambliss, just beat the only team that beat them, cornered dog/america's team bc of Kiffin

Indiana is a fantastic team but they are not head and shoulders above those 3. And we're at home.

Its just something about this team man! Theres a bunch of players on redemption tour from Beck, Fletch, Daniels, Toure, Wes, Thomas, Scott, Bain, Mesidor, the youngins all were counted out pretty much the core of our team so they have that mentality and got got at the right time. I think Indiana will be over whelmed with how physical we are! Not to mention the head man in charge a d how he wants this program back. Sure indiana feels the same but its levels to dis ****!

i keep telling myself, "they won 15 games" ... in a row ...

but styles make fights and they have a style that we match up with awfully well ... they lack the size needed on their defensive line ... they have good skill positions, not game changing ... their linebackers are active but smaller, which plays into the hands of our double team block scheme ...

then there's mendoza ... he's the heisman, overall #1 pick ... but for some reason i'm confident we can "contain" him ... it's crazy
Patriots 08 all over again I seen this story. I am not worried at all

If they go on offense first and we see what we saw vs OSU that’s game. If I see Bain and mezzi applying pressure off the rip I’m going to sit back and chill.

and equally confident the wheels can come off the wagon.
Nope, that's in the past. This team has molted into what Mario has been building.
As several have said, I was more "concerned" about the previous three than I am about this one.
I refuse to believe that Indiana was able to build a roster tougher and better than ours in such a short period of time, hence the struggles they've had with physical teams.

- Indiana is not anywhere close to tougher than Miami at any position
- Indiana is not anywhere close to more athletic than Miami at any position
- Indiana is incredibly well coached
- Indiana plays, as a unit, in a way we haven't seen in college football in a longtime, maybe forever...their default setting is A+ play
- Miami's A+ will exceed Indiana's A+
- Miami comes with anything less than A+, they are in for disappointment

IU's O line is notably better than Ohio State's. My big concern is the officiating. Are they going to allow blatant holding on pass plays all game?

Im assuming it'll be an SEC crew. They tend to allow a lot of DB hand fighting, which favors us. I really do NOT want to see a Big XII crew. Will be too many PI calls.
