Right now, I think this Notre Dame team looks better than the one that played in the national championship.

Nothing will match the 1989 OB game but it'll be close.

The thing is, I dont think anyone on this site considered us NC favorites at the beginning of the year. Justifiably so.

We still arent. Are we the caliber of Alabama? Not yet. But you can tell we're getting there.

This group of guys has shown me what years past hasnt; they got guts and they dont give up. That alone speaks volumes.

Yes it drives me crazy with miscommunications. Yes dropped passes and blown coverage plant a few more grey hairs on my head.

But the core of this team culture is about winning and toughness. Thats damned important.

Are we Alabama? No.

Can this team play with anyone in the country? I believe so.

Its such a refreshing change from what we've seen in the recent past. Gives us something great to talk about. :)

Hope they get caught looking ahead. NC State going to eat that *** up with their D Line. Might be taking an L this weekend.
 
Probably going to be hot again. Confident we can beat them. I'm ok with our coaches matching up against theirs and am confident in our physicality. We won't get any credit for beating VT or ND. Probably some close score.

Going to have to disagree. If they handle their business before the game and we win against both, UM is a top 5 team. The media may not want to give us credit but they will have no choice if we beat ND and VT.

Until we beat them, we shouldn't talk sh&t. They have had our number since 2010. We played 3 times and lost all 3 game.

We can't start thinking about ND and we first beat UNC. We can't start thinking about ND until we first beat VT. One game at a time, boys.
 
College football live tonight they were asked who is the biggest threat to Notre Dame

They all said nc state and stanford were bigger threats than Miami

Would like to go to the game, but cannot pay $100.00 per seat. Would you guys know if there is a chance I can buy tickets at the game for less.
Maybe a few minutes after the game starts.

It's been previously stated how important VT is. But ND IS Probably the most personal of games between these schools. ND vs Miami will always be the highest rated game. And if you beat VT this game will have Gigantic National playoff ramifications. The Hard Rock roof might be vibrating most of the night. Ara Parsegion use to run the scores up on Miami many moons ago. But Howard and JJ never forgot that. There is just real bad blood from both fan bases. Makes for a epic game indeed. And those Catholics gonna be taught a new religion. When it's all over they will bowing down to the ' Tournover Chain.
