Not if the assumptions are true that the BOT forced Blake to hire Manny. If we get a new AD and the BOT doesn't let them fire Manny ASAP we are just as fvcked.

No indication that is true at all, we have one trustee in the Harold saying that it in fact ****ed him off. He may have had some backing from certain trustees, but ultimatly he made the decision to offer him a 5 year contract and Temple buy out on the spot without conducting any kind of coaching search.

And, we also clearly call out the BOT too anyway.

Calling out the BOT isn't going to do schit. They aren't going to kick off guys worth hundreds of millions, that are willing to spend it on the school, because a billboard is erected. The only guys that can get fired are the AD, Asst AD, and the coaching staph.
 
what is the message that you’re trying to send? I was under the impression that you wanted Blake James fired, but that’s like the last thing in the message & it appears that “15 years & 0 ACC TITLES” is the meat of the message, because of font size & color. Why not put it like this if you’re trying to put pressure on Blake James?

It's actually been reported by several peeps that Blake went BEHIND the BOT's backs to sign Manny.

Blake is THE target here. This program can't move forward until he's gone. If Manny resigned tomorrow he'd just hire another ****** coach

Ah yes. Get it when the official visitors are in town. Surely that will help the program succeed. This campaign is impressively dumb and and there is 0% chance this gets off the ground.
 
its a no go for me bc i needs to have Fire Diaz as well. Anyone who doesnt want Diaz on there is part of the problem. Diaz and James BOTH must be called out.

what could possibly be bad about putting manny on there??? sounds like fans think a new AD makes Manny Diaz a better coach. It doesnt and unless the vitriol is directed his way the BOT will keep him, new AD or not.

Actually - you make a good point. Forget the billboard. Let’s hire dozens of clowns with fire Blake James signs to run around campus and stand along US1. We can afford that now and it will be a spectical. Maybe the news covers “Clowning Miami”.

this is just a false and frankly silly take.

no AD has the power to sign a $20million guaranteed contract without board approval. the fact that it happened so fast shows that Diaz was strongly pushed by guys like Epstein for a long while.
