This is from a Bama commitment at WR that is looking to visit UM this weekend. It is a quote from and interview on Rivals.

"He was saying how they're going to run stuff there, that they're trying to change the program around, make it moreso the old Miami, how the old Miami was winning, make it a winning program," Simmons said. "He told me he'll be running the offense how he did at Florida State and when he first got to Georgia, that they only have five wide receivers on scholarship right now, have a need for receivers, that I have great chance coming in there and playing."

I know he's going to be calling plays. I wonder if he was just talking about Richt telling him he's calling the plays or if he means the style of offense he ran at FSU? The fast paced, tempo, style of offense. He had to abandon it at UGA because the SEC refs are known for slowing the game down to allow themselves to get set. ACC lets the offenses control their own pace of the game.

I really really hope it's the old FSU offense. We will rek **** if so.

Exactly what I've been hoping for. Made 2 heisman winners in that offense at QB. Kaaya would be more of a contender than I thought. We would light up the scoreboard.

wow that would mean a spread passing attack , at fsu he had guys like peter warrick, that offense was awesome. if he runs a spread passing attack instead of a pro style 21 set run offense miami could be deadly.

i could really see yearby and walton thriving as well as homer in that style offense on draws, screens with there ability also.

At least the ACC won't try their best to slow the game down like the SEC did. He must have really hated being held back by the SEC. He took it in stride, but man, he has to be just chomping at the bit to get back to what he does best.

Sure will be nice watching our WR's picking up yards in chunks off of easy to complete shallow crosses as opposed to being shredded by them. Maybe Richt can give some tips on how to best disrupt the pattern also. Gonna be fun to watch Jimbo's face while being out coached by Richt. Yes, I think Richt is 10x the coach that Jimbo's is or ever will be.

Go Canes!

Tried to tell yall mane. Richt couldn't run that **** at UGA. The AD wasn't having it. It's all go now!

Great find... Takes some real balls to pull away offers and/or say no to "moderate" talent if it doesn't fit with the system and culture you want to build.

Trying very hard not to get too hyped, but for the first time in many years we have a staff that is playing chess when what we're used to seeing is a staff learning checkers... Crazy.
