let’s assume that this years squad is EXACTLY last year’s squad (though we obviously know it’s derivative of that squad - for the better, according to preseason Manny.)
2018 - 67th in Penalties
2019 - 120+ in penalties
(Almost) everyone agrees that penalties are a function of how well coached a team is. I wrote “almost” in parenthesis because you may disagree. But, if the variables called “kids” hasn’t changed - and the important variable that has is the variable called coaching, then (almost) everyone would agree that coaching is the problem we’re trying to solve for.
i agree with the penalties. we def are undisciplined and noticed it during the UF game. the one thing we did do well under richt was manage the penalties well
