Interesting comment from Jack Allison

He's not even close to being for the mean streets, which his comment would imply. His family is middle class, so take that comment with a grain of salt. He's not lacking for anything, but just wants more.

His comment doesnt imply that at all

Then what does his comment imply? Here it is in case you forgot it.

In an interview at the UA game, somebody asked Jack Allison what sets him apart. He said, "I don't come from a lot, so football is my way out."

He's from a middle class family. Football or not, most young men his age and demographic still go to college. So what is he on his way out of that he wouldn't be if there wasn't football?

Well....he implies that his family is of humble beginnings ("I dont come from a lot"). Thus he is implying that football is his way out of poverty.

At no point does he say anything that should lead to a jump to the mean streets. All he said is his family doesn't have much.

His family isn't poor either or poverty stricken. Perhaps his parents fit that mold growing up, but they're as middle class is it gets and far from poverty on the surface.

I know a kid who repeated his 8th grade year online with a Virtual School Online. He trained with his private QB coach 3-5 days a week.

He's now committed to a Top 25 program as a Jr in HS. It happens all over!

That is very interesting. I know a coach over here who spent time as the athletic coordinator of 2 middle schools in a wealthy area, and every year he would have multiple kids who had been getting private QB training since they were pretty young kids. QB camps/clinics/services are huge money makers. I like the thought of Jack having a lot of untapped potential waiting to be found.

He comes into a perfect situation. Kaaya said he's staying 2 more, kid doesn't have to be thrown to the wolves right away. 2 years ofcoaching from Richt and watching Brad go about business will do this kid wonders. Gonna be a monster here.

Did Brad really say that?

Yes he did. I believe something along the lines of I look forward to the next two years with Coach Richt.

That's all well and good until the advisory board tells him he's a 1st round pick. I wouldn't bank on his statement holding. With all of these kids it's year to year

I seriously doubt he is here as a senior as he is being talked about as a top 10 pick next year. he should leave if he is that . Now if he is 2nd or 3rd round come back as he can become a top 10 pick as a senior for sure . He is by far the most talented QB we have had since Dorsey . Berlin is the only really talented guy we have had since then and he was right after Dorsey . Though I will say I think Jacory could of been great with coaching .

Either Jack can sit and learn for at least a year. Good situation that he won't be thrown into the fire like Kaaya was.
