Injury Updates

Honest question: Your guess or you have seen something that points at that? I did not see any movement from his tendon during injury. Maybe I missed it.

Compete guess on how he immediately pulled his leg up and went to the ground. Never walked again. They were looking at his calf. Usually you can see an Achilles pop but they don’t really show it much and I haven watched the replay yet. Boot plus crutches makes me think something severe.

Guys they were stretching him out. My guess is maybe multiple injuries. Pulled hammy and ankle if I were too guess. But Achilles, no.

I’ve had the pleasure of rupturing both my achilles. He did not rupture an achilles. You can’t stretch an Achilles after a rupture as there is nothing to stretch. The tendon is just gone. If it was a partial tear, he would have been in excruciating pain from them stretching it. They were massaging his calf while stretching him which makes me think it was a bad calf strain maybe. Him being in a boot doesn’t make me think he’ll be back next week, but hopefully he avoided anything significant

100% they’re not stretching him out it if it’s a torn Achilles. So that right there should eliminate that from the possibilities.
Literally my only theory with that could be that if immediately OJ said his calf and was in pain and maybe he thought it was just a cramp or something? But yeah it really doesn't make sense as I don't think I've ever heard an Achilles feeling like a cramp. It's just usually a sharp pain and a pop that feels like you got kicked so nothing like a cramp. Just weird.

Although maybe it was just a cramp and an actual foot/toe injury which is what I thought before he even went down

Not true. Like many posters have said, they were stretching him out for at least 10 minutes after he got hurt.
Once they finished the initial eval and stretching they loaded him into the cart. After the game he came back on the cart too. They might have found something during the eval while stretching. I was there in the first row and I took that photo.

My only point is I don't think he's playing in a week.

So we don’t know if Oj is a calf strain or a torn achilles

You goobers are *** with this injury speculation

As long as Moten is ok we roll
Moten was on social media after the game walking around the field talking ****. I think hes good. I also saw damari walking around on the field afterwards. Didn't have a boot or crutches. Not sure if that guarantees anything tho

I don’t think he’s playing either.

Zero chance OJ tore his achilles, unless Miami’s training staff got certified at the Learing Center.
I mean I was just about to post this. Everybody dismissing an Achillis because of the trainers reactions.

Butttttttt if these guys were trained at Uhealth, is it that crazy to think the did wrong protocol? Lol
