Injuries…holler at me

This might be the most injured team i can remember through 5 weeks. Truly, this is pure insanity. Need yall to help me sort this is my brain. Correct what I’m missing.

OJ Frédérique - done for most of the year if not all
Lucas - been hurt since week 1, back soon. Maybe.
Antione - been out all year, back soon. Maybe.
EOC - went out but came back, right?
Lightfoot - went out tonight, never returned
Blount - came in banged up, left and didn’t return?
Mali - hurt the shoulder again but came back
Moten - seemed like he was ok after missing last week
McCoy - came back but was clearly hurt
Buchanan - went out and came back, what’s the injury?

Obviously Marty and Moore done for the year.

What am I missing? This is ******* absurd. The whole goddamned team has been hurt in the first 5 weeks.

- Buchanan seemed like a knee.

- I thought for sure Mali was going to be out for the game with an AC Joint type sprain. Looked almost exactly like so many plays we see in the NFL that end up with that injury. DJ Moore being a recent one.

- Anxious about Lightfoot and Blount.

- Lucas will be back very shortly.

- Antoine soon, too.

- Mccoy may have dislocated his shoulder, and if so, that's something that can become a recurring thing over the course of the season. He played with gigantic brass balls, I'd say.

- EOC seemed fine after coming back to the game.

Good lord bro. I know football is a physical game and you can get hurt no matter who you play, but this roster looks like the end of a civil war battle and we have won 5 games by like 300 points. Just insane.
 
Moore out for the year as well missing in OP.

Seems similar to what the Celtics, OKC, and Warriors all ended up dealing with after championship runs. A more apt 1:1 comparison would be the uptick in injuries the Patriots have suffered just a few games into their season after being very healthy last year.

We play more freshmen in significant roles than anybody else but we are borderline negligent w/ substitutions when the game has been put away. Why in the world was McCoy playing the whole fourth quarter after he was in so much pain earlier? It makes so little sense as to why we wouldn’t have Cantwell in

Just one example however i can use that for so many positions. Poyser **** near knocked somebody, an teammate, out tryna make a tackle late; but why the **** was he in the game in the first place? We have a ridiculous aversion to giving the backups play during garbage time

Obviously guys got injured earlier on but why risk having starters play extra snaps like that? It’s a constant theme that is getting reckless now that we are a 16-game-team instead of a 13-team one

Considering we’ve had more 2nd team reps, than we’ve had in years the first 3 games, this is just bad luck.

We need some Voodoo **** to lift this curse.
