Indiana cheating ?

I mean I think it's bs

But it is absolutely crazy they have 5 separate INTs this year on opponents opening drive.... Against Oregon it was on the first play. Against Iowa, UCLA, and Purdue it was on the 2nd play. Against Ohio St it was on the 4th play.

That's is insane.
wow, was not aware of this...outlier? Its nearly half there games.

Is anyone that well coached?

I think I just became a conspricy theorist.

Nah, I don't think IU is cheating. If they are, it's no more than any other team. This is a weak look from Miami fans that support this claim. I know it was created by the SEC conspiracy theorists to disrespect IU.

IU is good and well coached, but they aren't invincible. They have played some close games this year and almost lost a couple. They had an easy path via the playoffs. Bama had already got blown out twice before that game. IU beating the brakes off them was not a surprise to me. Bama was a joke. Now Oregon, I think they are a pretty good team. Not better than IU, Miami, Ole Miss, UGA, but they are much better than Bama. Oregon basically gave IU 28 free points. I know a couple of those turnovers were good plays by IU, but two of those were self-inflicted and the bounces could not have gone better for IU.

I still think our advantages in the trenches will determine this game. Both our o-line and d-line had subpar games against Ole Miss. I think our D-line can give Mendoza fits like we did with Sayin. It's time to give Mendoza some credit, he's good, but he's not as good as Chambliss. I think our o-line regroups and will punish IU's d-line all night. Not saying we win every battle, but we are going to win more than their d-line does.

I'm in the same boat. I think it's probably bs. But.. I watched that opening int against Oregon frame by frame after the cheating stuff popped up and I do have questions.

Look at the what the rest of the D is doing away from the interception. They let the opposite WR run right past them. And I don't mean he got past past them. I'm saying they didn't even try to cover him. They just.. let him go. It sure looks like they knew where the ball was going.

Miami isn't making the accusation

their three stars are 24 and 25 years old
BYU isn't decimating the sport. That program has actually been good and being old and married with kids isn't working as well for them. Being old and coached well has never worked to this level. I don't know if they're cheating and won't even accuse them of it but considering we're not even 5 years removed from Michigan doing it why would anyone be so quick to dismiss it.

And they supposedly practice less.

Cheating or not, they have come across zomething game breaking and paradigm shifting. Cig isnt doing what everyone else is.
I think you're right ans I hope Mario and co. can figure it out--maybe it's cheating, maybe it's some esoteric application of AI, maybe it's a genuine innovation. The secret sauce remains to be seen.

Yeah I mentioned that. Sadiq the TE was wide open for a huge play/TD on the corner route. I think that may have been because they had the backup in since #1 was out for the play after getting hurt on the KO. But yeah if Moore went off his first read that was wiiiiiiiide open.

The INT thing @Calinative pointed out does make you wonder tho...

One game from a natty and you’re still moping. Sad that you can’t enjoy it with the rest of us.

Like our offense the first half of the year, you’re getting too predictable - we already know you have the “I know @Angry Ibis is happy” post teed up if we lose and another one of these mope about mopes being right posts when we win. Open the playbook a bit.

We got 6 on the table and you have big time tears because posters aren’t mad …. about… winning 🤔

I’m not moping, i’m happy, but you gotta come up with better comebacks than this.

Actually, I’m very happy. It’s been almost 25 years - a quarter century.

I just really enjoy busting your balls.

I know we didn't make the accusation. Was the SEC blowhards. I think we should be careful as Miami fans if we support this claim. Whether it's true or not, there is no evidence to support that claim right now. Kind of makes us look weak, IMO.
Dude…seriously, GTFHOWTBS.

Seems like everyone is happy, so the Original … No More Tears

The way I see it, right now them cheating is just a theory.

Until someone can provide me with specific proof, some form of documentation, like Michigan, then it just remains a theory.

I will grant that there are some data points that could be interpreted as indicators of cheating, but that’s a subjective interpretation, and not proof. I’m not saying they are or they aren’t cheating, but I just don’t see anything convincing me beyond a reasonable doubt.

But either way, it does this no good to propagate this, and other than our coaching infrastructure taking appropriate and/or preemptive action to secure critical information, which I assume they’d be doing anyway, what else can be done?

Add to that the fact that our success has not been overly based on trickery or elaborate game plans, but to a significant extent trying to get advantageous matchups and lining up and beating the man in front of you.

What some are accusing them of seems not to be merely "cheating" but active criminal fraud and criminal conspiracy. Big time go to federal prison crimes. So before making such an accusation, ask yourself what kind of person would risk their promising career, their lucrative current earnings, their reputations, and all that goes along with it, for this?

Dude…seriously, GTFHOWTBS.
Huh? Not sure what you mean. Do you have clear evidence supporting the claim that IU is and has been cheating? Maybe they are cheating. Maybe they aren't. We don't know for sure. I'm just saying we need to be careful of supporting the claim that IU is cheating when there is no evidence.
