In your time of watching the Canes, is Rosier the worst starting qb at Miami you have ever seen?

Freeman was feeble. Worst QB to start a game for Miami since the ‘83 NC.

I don’t think Wright was worse than Malware. He was talented, but starting during the end of Coker’s malpractice taints him. He was probably overhyped out of high school, although everyone wanted him.

Brock Berlin was 3-0 vs FSU and 2-0 vs UF. This alone makes him a great Cane.

Young pup, let me tell you a story...I was sitting in the Orange Bowl for the very last time on a 95 degree noon game in November. Miami ran for more than 300 yards on the day and we still lost. Our QB was named Kirby Freeman and he completed ONE PASS the whole game. He finished 1-14 with three interceptions.

Give him his due. He was 4 for 14.

I can tell you in my time of message boards this is the most crying I have ever seen. Figured the hysterics would dry up by Wednesday morning and people would collectively move onto the next game and the rest of the season. This entire forum should be relabeled Canes Tears at this point.

I've been watching Canes QBs since George Mira in the early 1960s. Rosier isn't even close to being the worst. With the exception of Jim Kelly in 1979, Rosier is better, for example, than any UM QB to play in the entire decade of the '70s.
