With the exception of Richt, those coaches that you mentioned are winning consistently and have bags. That easily makes one a "Miami swagger guy" more than anything.
I agree on the winning part. But saban and those other do have charisma about them on the recruiting trail. In south Florida with these divas u need that’. Just not the bags

Miami could go out and hire Nick Saban tomorrow, and I STILL don't think we're winning a championship.

The 80's and 90's were a special time. Kids coming up in Miami at that time had a different level of toughness. This was a time when you had race riots, cocaine cowboys, and Miami streets were downright dangerous.

South Florida kids really were another level of tough. They really did have that dog in them.

Today, South Florida kids are some of the softest in America. It's night and day from the past.

Today, Miami is basically a resort town for middle-aged south american families who want to do a little shopping. In a lot of ways, it's a much better city today.... but the entire city of Miami has lost its edge and its character.

The Miami of the 80's and 90's will never come back. That goes for the football team and the city.

Today, South Florida kids are some of the softest around.

Respectfully you sir are wrong. “If” the ones that matter stay, we win. There are other great players and states. Nothing compares to the State of Miami
