You're arguing with people who filled these boards with "Watson is overrated" at the beginning of the season and "Bama isn't impressive" during the game.

This is insanity.

Pruitt is one of the best DC's in the country.
 
Never said he wasn't one of the top DC's. All I'm saying is that they are not Great, but have 99% better players than 100% of teams they face and that is what their success is achieved by. Bill Belllichek is a Great Coach because he plays on a level playing field and his teams regardless of the personnel still win. Manny Diaz or any of 50 DC's would have just as much or better success than Pruitt if he were at bamer with their loads of top recruits. Do you in turn believe Pruitt would have had better success with our defensive depth issues? No! Then is Manny great? Would Pruitt be great if he has say Wake Forest's defensive talent? No! Because college football does not necessarily require you have great coaches, but have great recruiting and depth. Having "huge" personnel advantages and even winning does not make you a great coach. Winning and sustaining at places where you do not have an inherent advantage makes you Great, not the other way around.
