I'll Just Leave This Here (Re: Tae Williams and Leonard Manuel)

When we had Manuel in the fold people pegged him as the prize of the class. Now I see differently from a lot of people. If he switches to a TE he'd be a monster once he bulks up more. At WR we'll see. If he knows how to use his body he'll be fine. With that being said I don't see him flipping to us. If he goes anywhere else it'll be another SEC team imo.
I think once kids see our offense this season, it’s going to change a lot of things.

I think Tae Williams is a very talented football player & is a take in this class.

However, he picked the wrong year to be indecisive, this year's DB class will be loaded especially at Safety, he don't have time to mess around & drag things out.

If he's ready to shut down his recruitment & be committed 100% then jump on board, if not, then continue to wait all year & his spot will probably be taken by another player. The ball is in his court, we're not desperate for a commit from him.

With Leonard Manuel, no thanks, wouldn't waste 5 minutes on the kid. Even if he were to recommit to us no way he sticks with it til to December.

I'm not the biggest fan of Manuel at reciever I think he is slow but he would be a better tight end. I like keyshawn Lawrence more than William's at safety but would definitely take tae
I like Lawrence too, but some people said we were recruiting him as a CB, which is beyond stupid to me.

Being new to the recruiting race, I’m not as familiar as others regarding the what and why’s of Tae or Manuel’s decision making process. But I agree with Liberty, if Tae continues playing flippy floppy with his decision, he’s going to find that any spot remaining will become filled. I liked his HS highlights and would love him in the signing class. But I’m not sold on Manuel as a WR, as others have said he would look the part at TE. All in all the 2020 class is starting to fill out and I like what I’ve been seeing under Diaz and Co., especially the players we are getting as commitments. If they all stick, Miami will land a Top 5 class to couple with a Top 10 one from 2018. While 2019’s class wasn’t highly regarded I believe when adding in the transfers that it will be more serviceable than many believe. And if we reap success on the field this season to the tune of 10-11 wins, that’s going to play well for the 2021 class. We snag a consecutive Top 5-10 class then we will finally have the quality depth we need to compete not only for ACC Coastal titles, but against Clemson in the ACCCG, and nationally in the CFP.

You posted it. Maybe it was someone else’s logic and you repeated it. Who knows but if you want to argue find someone else bra. DC flipped twice and he’s the best player out of south Florida in 10 years easily.

It was a question..not logic that I subscribed to. You’re so quick to be right that you can’t even have dialogue about it. Only a ****** uses one example as empirical evidence to justify logic...argue with yourself.

Just saw someone on Twitter say Williams was escorted out by DVD and Banda but tweet was deleted pending details as to why. I wonder if there is any truth to it and if so what happened. I’m assuming something will come out about it soon

I don’t think it was that kind of escorted out lol. It was more like let me walk you out so we can keep talking.

Ivins clarified it and said it was just them walking him to his car recruiting him till he left.

Ok cool. I was curious about that because to my knowledge he was someone we really wanted and I thought the interest was legit. If that’s all to it then that’s great. I like the kid as a player.

Exactly but you missed the Reuben Foster Auburn tat by the other poster too right? Not too many players flip multiple times so the numbers on both side will be equal. There’s no need to continue to name names. If you’re talking about flipping once, that’s too time consuming.

Agreed. Williams doesnt have a position here. Too small and not rangy enough. Manuel is just big, thats not enough
To Williams credit he was apparently impressive at the Nike combine and had a sparq rating of 105 and at 5’11 170 ran a 4.52 and was impressive in coverage that day. He can play but who knows
