I would imagine he would. Miami is home and it’s the Mecca of recruiting. Someone will win big again at some point. He’s been all over now and sees what it takes and what is working.

Even if we get Mario at the end of next season, Miami will bank on him being able to make all the right moves which imo is a mistake. The AD has to be able to push the HC into upgrading staff members until Miami gets back to an acceptable level. Look at Oklahoma, their title is older than ours, but they keep their program at the cusp... eventually they might break through. Being Alabama might not be normal for Miami any more, but there's no reason in my mind why we cant be Oklahoma in the ACC Coastal.

The problem with this thought process is giving the AD too much power. You hire coaches to make those decisions.
