If you ever wonder why I take PFF with a grain of salt…

The list is from a person (Max Chadwick) rather than simply lining up their grades and making a list. That said, I just cannot get behind this:

The Gators had the third-highest-graded offensive line in the Power Four in 2024 (85.9) and brought back five of the six players who played at least 300 snaps for them.

Third-highest graded at what? Because it certainly wasn't blocking the opponent, I can tell you that.

They've got Notre Dame ninth and Penn State eleventh.

My bedazzled singlet is still hanging in my closet, collecting dust, waiting for @CanesDynasty to someday return.

I actually might have to get that singlet let out a little.
That’s a different guy you quoted who always gets dragged into this. 😂 @Cane Dynasty is our leader

I remember some experienced Miami OL in recent past. Guys like McDermott, Trevor Darling, Nick Linder, Vaughn Donaldson, Corey Gaynor. Their experience proved they deserved to be ranked in the Top 10 OL nationally.
They said the same thing about FSU last year. They had all these 4th and 5th year guys but they sucked ***.

I most cases, older, more experienced lines tend to be better. If only because they’ve been in college weight programs for longer. But if you suck, experience isn’t enough to magically make you good.

People conflate PFF's public-facing written content with their specialized data products that teams purchase and rely on for competitive advantages. PFF's writers and their data analytics are distinct products. The fact that all 32 NFL teams and numerous Division I college programs use PFF's data services shows its practical value

I think by the end of the season Miami's RB room will be a top 10 unit as well.
Was listening to the Sirius college station the other day and Matt Zenitz was saying Lyle was very impressive in spring and that he expects him to blow up this year.

This topic was breakout players across the nation not just Miami or the ACC

Fletcher, Lyle, Pringle and Brown should definitely be top 10, especially running behind the UM Oline and with a credible passing game (stay healthy Carson!). We may not have a “star” because the carries will be shared, but I would be shocked if UM is not a very effective running team again.
