3-5 in the world. No… top 35 in the United States is fair. That’s from both an architectural or beauty point of view. I put an architectural top fifty link earlier in this thread. They rated number 38. I thought that was a bit too generous. Worldwide they wouldn’t sniff a top 100. It’s an incredible campus and deserves a ton of respect. It’s not NEAR the level or a Yale or Stanford. Google away and you too will see it’s great, but not that.Arguably top 3-5 campuses in the world.
Think "if Disney did your landscaping"
Duke, Virginia and Stanford! ****Hard to believe Wake Forest is on the list. Was there in December. The quad is nice but it ends there. If you go in the buildings they are very disappointing. Student center and the cafeteria in the basement were a joke. Harvard was ok. Looked a lot better on tv and the internet. North Carolina was nice but campus is a hodgepodge and students have a hard time getting around a campus that has little organization.
Miami’s campus is much improved from when I lived nearby. The new student center is pretty on the outside with nothing of note inside. Surprised at that.
Duke, Virginia, and Stanford are my favorite campuses. My son is considering all 3 but after touring Georgia, that’s his favorite. I love U of Pennsylvania but you do have to step off campus every now and again.
We weren't talking academic ranking (although they are excellent), but rather campus "beauty".3-5 in the world. No… top 35 in the United States is fair. I wasn’t talking about academics either. As I stated in my post, the campus from an architectural and beauty standpoint, Wake was ranked number 38. I put a link. Academically is another discussion completelyWe weren't talking academic ranking (although they are excellent), but rather campus "beauty".
IMHO, there isn't a nicer looking campus Yale, Stanford, Duke, and Pepperdine included (although the cliff view is kinda nice).
In the eye of the beholder as always, your mileage may vary.
Like ranking the Mona Lisa vs Starry Night. If you like it, you like it.I wasn’t talking about academics either. As I stated in my post, the campus from an architectural and beauty standpoint, Wake was ranked number 38. I put a link. Academically is another discussion completely
Georgia winning isn't gonna change anything. They are basically Bama-lite.What a dumb thread.
Bama has completely ruined college football. And yet you guys are hoping Georgia will lose.
If I'm that pilot I do my patriotic duty and put that plane straight into the ground at 500mph.Would have been a better video, had the plan crashed.
The Seattle Kraken take on the Colorado Avalanche tonight at 9pm. I'd rather listen to the AM radio call of that game alone in the dark than watch one second of this game and the accompanying SEC slurpfest. How about I look on completely disinterested and hope they both lose?
This is exactly why HBCUs are a threat to the P5..
wtf would you want bama to win ANOTHER championship? always had a soft spot in my heart for UGA because if they don't beat texas in '83 in their bowl game, we have no chance of winning a championship vs nebraska. Texas would've been the champion instead.
Go dawgs!
