If we beat Pitt and cover spread. They want Mia.mi vs Oregon.

They want that match up.

If we beat Pitt yes we need somebody to lose in front of us but I guarantee you somehow someway they want that match up.


Even if BYU winsy we will move past them.

The storlines.

They meaning TV networks. Money.

Sadly I think they know we are good enough and should be ahead of ND. It's the same thing that happened to fsu. Squeaky wheel gets the grease and they don't want to deal with ND or Alabama (though Bama has good argument to be over us). ACC teams are easy to say **** off to. The fact ND is ahead of Bama tells you they want a buffer between us. Its obvious Miami should be ranked ahead of ND if you compare the two teams body of work plus head to head, but they are holding out hope Miami crashes and burns Saturday so they can say I told you so.

They don’t know that. They actually said on Tuesday that they think ND is the better team. They’ve been very clear that H2H doesn’t matter as much as being flat out better right now.

don't be surprised.. if we cover this spread at Pittt or more.

The cfp will basically put us in just based upon one way or the other having the top 12 teams in the country do a playoff. We are a top 12. But we have to beat Pitt.

ACC tweets. That’s about it. Sankey would be all over ESPN, SEC Network…..you’d see Alabama US Senators talking about it on Sunday TV shows and about how there should be congressional hearings. ACC you won’t hear a peep about it.

As much as I hate Mario’s style and the conservative slow play that guarantees a loss or two every season, it’s actually built for playoff football. I don’t think we would get embarrassed.

The turtle often beats the hare. With our defense, we should be able to compete with just about any of them and it seems Dawson has reached into his bag of tricks which makes for some fun outcomes.

I think if we win, regardless of score we’re likely in. I don’t buy the style point nonsense. We all know that’s not how football works. “Oh hey FSU beat Wake Forrest by 40 points so they must be better than NC State who lost to Wake Forrest by a TD..except NC State beat FSU”

Never ever ever ever has football worked that way. Maybe style points would matter against a bad team but Pitt is ranked. It’s a road game.

Norte God**** ****. Even God knows it’s the right thing to do. And who knows. People aren’t talking about the very possibility Bama loses to Auburn. That’s our best shot at an upset going our way. Bama is a 5 point favorite. Auburn ALWAYS plays them tough even when they’re severely outmatched. They’re due for a win over the Tide.

If we win this weekend and don't make the ACCCG I could anticipate more public noise. Maybe even Trump himself with his granddaughter and Dana White both being UM people and him being a south Florida resident.

Not so sure. They have moved us like 7 spots in the last couple of weeks. Sure they have their agenda but in a perfect scenario they want us and ND and there are so many story lines with match ups against Oregon, Georgia, and ND, Any of these would be a ratings bonanza.

That said we need to take care of business Saturday. They certainly will not gift it to us.

6 spots but we were definitely punished at #18 by past seasons November failures.

Notre Dame was #10 and we were #18. We should have been much closer to begin with.
