If we beat Pitt and cover spread. They want Mia.mi vs Oregon.

Bama argument is flimsy outside of UGA win they ain’t got **** and they lost to putrid fsu. UGA been sus all year shoulda lost to auburn and tenn. Bama should be on the outside looking imo

You could say we punished ourselves too. Recall we were at 2 at one time over everyone except OSU.

I think there’s a chance we jump BYU due to resume and Bama due to our common opponent and if they lose or a meh showing in a win over Auburn. We still have to at least cover at Pitt and look decent doing it though.

Just going by who've they have beat I think we both should be ahead of ND. They have beat numbers 4, 13 and 17. That's probably best in the country. They did lose to a sorry *** FSU team but we are counting that as a ranked win as well so kinda goes both ways.

They had no choice but to move us up bc they started us too low. Every team between us and #10 that first week, has lost or wasn’t better than us to begin with.

Yea man sorry Im not buying that Vandy Mizzou and Tennessee are worth a ****. They are no different than Florida imo
 
The ncaa is a clueless organization always making adjustments to what has happened instead of what will happen. With the now giant sized conferences which produces massively differing schedules the current access to the cfb is nonsensical. The conference championships should either be cancelled or have zero impact on who gets in the cfb playoffs.

There is still time for them to rectify that. We probably jump BYU and Bama all said and done. Like I said there is no gimmie. We have to have a solid win at Pitt for it to all play out.

If Bama blows out Auburn though I take it all back lol

Do you do drugs? I’m not trying to be mean but there is zero chance Miami jumps Alabama unless Alabama loses!!!! PERIOD

If Bama doesn’t blow out Auburn and we defeat Pit impressively I could see us jumping them just so the committee doesn't have to do it the following week if they lose in the sec title game cause they don’t want to mess up their whole title games won’t hurt you narrative.

Not jumping Bama unless they lose this week. Doesn’t matter if they beat Auburn by 1 or 100 and then lose in Atlanta next week.

They will ALWAYS get benefit and be ranked higher…Miami could beat Pitt 48-0 and bama wins by 3 in iron Bowl and they won’t flip EVER

I disagree. I think an ugly win might be enough to justify moving us ahead with a convincing win over Pitt. We have the tougher game this week. We both played FSU at their place. And I do think we provide more intriguing matchups if the committee are concerned about maximizing viewership and ratings. They did not have to move us as far up as they did unless they are thinking that’s a possibility. I grant you if Alabama wins convincingly they will not UM ahead of them.

I need some of whatever you’re smoking. There is not a chance in **** we jump Bama unless they lose. I posted before that with SEC teams they care about who you beat, and Bama has I think four wins over top 25 teams. I’ll also mention again that Bama caught their 3rd loss late last year against a mediocre Oklahoma team and looked horrific doing it. They still almost got in.
