I don't know anymore, as if I ever did, but drastic changes need to be made everywhere. AD, HC, officials in the department, etc. Keep trying until you hit on someone would be my philosophy. In the heyday, despite head coaches leaving it didn't seem to matter. 4 different head coaches have won the 5 titles.
Big time programs/bluebloods would not be patient.

The sad truth is that the problem is above AD.

Much like head coach, if the stooges above aren't going to support winning at the highest level, the greatest AD in the world is nothing more than a mouthpiece of mediocrity....and they aren't spending top dollars for anything, much less that. Like our new head coach, we hire for training on the job to get a real gig down the road.
