I’m not saying it’s national championship or bust after just 4 weeks but this might be Mario’s best shot.

The amount of talent on the roster and how old Miami is will be hard to replicate again. Also tons of talent leaving after this year.

Entire starting d-line and Lb’s, Scott, Thomas on defense, then Daniels, Marion, Johnson, brockmeyer, cooper, CiCi and possibly Bell all gone, Beck and maybe Fletcher all gone.

You just can’t replace all of your trenches, LB and QB in one off season.

This has to be the year to make big moves. We will see if this team can handle the trip to Tally and then 6 straight games to finish with multiple in the road in November.

The pre-season is over and now the real season starts .

With the transfer portal you never know what your team will look like now. We all thought last year was our 1 shot with a once in a generation QB. Now we think it’s this year.

I agree with you, that we do have a shot this year. A VERY good shot imo. But who knows what next year brings. We might put 3 players in the 1st round this year, and then Mario is getting everyone he wants in the portal and recruiting. With us winning and showing return on investment, maybe the budget goes up.

All I know is Mario assembled this team after us being absolutely irrelevant for over 2 decades. What do you think he can do when we’re winning and putting players in the draft? I think it’s up from here brother.

From what I saw last night we don't have the QB to guarantee a National Championship.

We're in the picture and that's a start.

I’m with you. Maybe not to the point that we could never replicate it again but we can’t assume this type of roster is easy to come by in this era of CFB.

If the Bain, Mesidor, Beck combo remain healthy I’m very high on our National Title chances. I don’t think we should be afraid or ashamed to believe this team can do it

Mario has done an incredible job in filling in the teams needs in the off season. It will be easy reloading from here. It’s more clear now what his rebuilding plan was and is.

Last year it was “we have a punchers chance” against anyone because we had the best QB that’s ever taken the field here

But we knew the defense would be our undoing eventually

If Cam Ward had a game last year like Beck had last night we would have lost by 35 points

Just a different type of feel so far this year for sure

I certainly didn't. You can't win a NC with a terrible Secondary. And we all know our Secondary was awful before the season started.
