Narduzzi makes like 900k. Offer that monster 2 million per.

He already likes Miami's old defense

Narduzzi made 558k last season.

Offer him 2.5 mil.

You don't have overpay an unproven guy like Narduzzi. He wants to be a HC and would chop his nuts off to have a gig at a place like UM. Give him a raise down the road if he earns it. Same with any of these other coordinators.

Best coordinator in college football is Pud Foster. Imagine what that dude could do with the talent he'd have here. No one would ever score. Of course, the question on him would be what type of offense he'd install, but that would be the same question on any other DC you'd hire.

I've been looking over the fence at Foster for a decade I think. Love that dude.

Best in the business. Every facking year that dude has that d hanging around a top 5 level. Narduzzi is nice, but dudes forget he struggled terribly his first couple years at msu. And let's also not forget that Dantonio is a bad *** defensive coach, so who knows how much of MSU's recent success is Narduzzi or Dantonio.

Kevin Wilson is making 1.2 at IU..Hire him @ 2 mil. and watch the scoreboard light up. The guy is a great offensive coach.

Maybe you can convince him that if he takes less, he has more for assisstants.

True. Good point.

But dude has it good at Michigan state. I don't think he'd leave for a small raise.

Any coordinator. I repeat. Any college coordinator sprints to Coral Gables if he wants to be a HC.

Our fans underestimate what a great gig this is and how big this sleeping giant is. Narduzzi would be here before he could hang up the phone.

Look at the **** hic gigs that hot college coordinators have jumped on recently. Bob Diaco at uconn. Mark Poops at Kentucky. Kingsbury at TTU. COUNTLESS OTHERS.

I cant think of a coordinator in the country that would turn down Miami. There is talent on the roster they play in a league that is winnable and it sits on the best recruiting ground in the country. Plus the administration is starting to spend money on facilities. Personally I think UM should give Golden a few more years to turn this thing around

I mentioned it in the other thread, but I dont want us to be in such a hurry to get rid of Golden that we lose sight of what this job is. I wonder what else Narduzzi brings to the table. Golden for all his faults brought some promising connections and coaching trees.....but his continuity bias really blows that theory.

And like it or not, Beamer is a **** good coach too and Foster has been with him through it all. Beamer is the epitome of what we pine for. The antithesis of Miami the last decade.

Man, I don't know how you can want that guy. Foster's defenses are cheap & dirty every freakin year. The guy is successful b/c he teaches his 2nd rate players to hurt their opponent with cheap shots. No thanks.

Agree, guy maximizes the talent entrusted to him - what a concept.

I would take Bud Foster in a heartbeat.

1. It gives an aggressive coach who will attack, attack, attack.
2. We would no longer be playing against him.

LULZ. You know your HC eats butt when rivals want him to stay employed.

We'd never punt. Neither would the other team. Would kill offensively here.

There'll always be a trade off.

Spread guys tend to not pay attention to defense and defensive-minded coaches tend to have too conservative an offense.

There's gotta be a happy medium. Finding that will be the issue.
