IF Emory Starts/Plays……

Can we beat FSU if we got with the game plan we had for Clemson? Because that's what we'll get with Williams in there. I like Williams, and think he has a bright future, but we can't have three quarters of nothing and hope we can somehow pull out a miracle in the 4th quarter. Our O needs to at least TRY to push the ball down the field to keep FSU honest. Throw some **** jump balls against FSU's CBs. God knows, that's all FSU does to them in practice.

Our season & Miami Hurricane pride is literally riding on it; this ain't a UVA or GTech or some sh*t, this is FSU, everything is on the line whenever we play them.

We’d need some explosive plays from Brashard & Chris Johnson to compete, if the game plan is similar to the Clemson game. I hope Dawson starts Emory but opens up the playbook faster than we did against Clemson (especially if the OL is performing well & Emory is looking good).

We have a better chance of winning via the way we played vs Clemson as opposed to turning the ball over several times. Also, Williams in the first three quarters was not the same as the 4th quarter so it may not be accurate to say you are going to get the SAME game plan.

Idk if you guys know this but in this era of CFB, TF QB's play & have success, it's happened multiple times on teams far better than ours.

If Emory really isn't ready & can't play behind a dude who is practically begging to get benched, then we got a lot bigger issues at hand than most would be willing to admit.

If they don't start Emory, it's because they're basically tanking the season, the question then becomes why?

Yeah, but the environment won't be like that at Hard Rock. The game plans have SUCKED in ACC play. Our O, regardless who the QB is, has been brutal. This is Marioball. Thinking a new QB will come in and look incredible in Marioball is just setting yourself up for disappointment.

I think I have been clear. Who said anything about looking incredible? I need a quarterback who is NOT going to turn the ball over. Thats all. Don’t turn it over. We have been in plus territory against EVERY ACC opponent regardless of who the quarterback was. But one of them has consistently turned the ball over. Its simple. Protect the ******* ball. Does it mean we win? No! But if we turn the ball over it almost guarantees we lose.

You do realize you can have a QB that doesn't turn the ball over and still not make plays, right? Turnovers suck, but so do 3 and outs.

I do realize that, but has that been our situation? I dont recall Williams going 3 and out the whole game vs a better Clemson defense. Are you saying because its on the road, Williams wont be able to complete any passes? The running backs won’t be able to gain any yards? The receivers won’t be able to catch any passes? That we aren’t going to see plus territory all day? Maybe you are right but i will take my chances. TVD has already shown you what he is going to do. Williams is an unknown at worst

Give Emory the full playbook and be aggressive on offense. Same thing if you start Jacurri. Otherwise, they might as well stick with TVD.

Back to Back seasons where miami is going into their biggest rivalry game of the season with an injured and/or disastrous situation at starting QB with a likelihood of having to turn to a freshman with little to no experience...what a time.....great work staff
