How do you know this? Doesn't sound like that at all from the playersI wouldn’t say the entire team is against TVD
But I will say the majority is ready to go to war with EW or JB, over TVD. Starting TVD would have negative consequences in the locker room
I'm sure they will pull TVD after we are already down 17-0 and hes thrown 2INTS and lost a fumble.
Idk if you guys know this but in this era of CFB, TF QB's play & have success, it's happened multiple times on teams far better than ours.

For those that think the staff found Emory at the local YMCA, he was an Elite 11 QB (top 20 in the nation) and was the #1 QB there for accuracy. Think he ended up like #3 overall.
Until Dawson’s Monday weekly presser yesterday, I was 100% convinced TVD would start against the semenholes. He was asked about, and addressed the situation with TVD, right out of the gate. After some of the comments Dawson made yesterday, I’m not so sure TVD starts or at at least if he does start and is ineffective, he gets pulled and Emory gets to play. I’ve attached the Dawson presser below.
If Emory starts/plays, we MUST support him win or lose. Unless he’s just a complete disaster, we need to give him the benefit of the doubt being a true freshman starting/playing against our most hated rival. He’s most likely our future starting QB and he needs to know we’ve got his back.

And it's not like we're running 823 different plays with 9. How many plays will 17 need to learn and practice?
The hope for the future is shattered if Emory looks like the QB no other team in the country wanted vs the gem that Ponce and Mario found. All the 3* Mac Jones, Pat Mahomes, Josh Allen hype goes away and a different reality creeps in. As of now Mario can sell the unknown to recruits and the fan base. That all vanishes if Emory looks like a pumpkin.
Now this is something that comes with Leadership...Regardless of who plays QB for miami
Bain, JW20 or Kiko need to knock Jordan Travis out of the game.
Even we can’t win, let’s derail their season
Fuq em
K.You say that as if Emory Williams didn't already play a complete game against a legit top ten defense in Clemson.
BTW - There is program history here. In 1989 Craig erickson got injured and missed one game, at FSU. Freshman QB Gino Torretta started and played a complete game. The Canes lost 24-10 and Torretta struggled, but it did not mark the end of anything. The Canes still won the national title that year and Gino went on the win the Heisman a couple years later.
We are going to need to go all in on a Portal QB, regardless. After 1st incompletion: "Yeah Emory ain't it either. Going to need go all-in on Portal QB."
I support whoever has U on helmet. That does equate to blind faith. So Mister Customer, can I count on your support for Emory Williams going forward?
Travis and Coleman..... break them in half.....Now this is something that comes with Leadership...
If I'm Guidry, I'm putting a Bounty of J Travis & plastering a picture of him in the locker room & telling all the hitters on the team, "Go get me this mf'er head on a stake!"
Our season & Miami Hurricane pride is literally riding on it; this ain't a UVA or GTech or some sh*t, this is FSU, everything is on the line whenever we play them.
- Kneel (he won't need it but they better @^%$#*(%^# teach it anyway)- Hand off
- Tunnel Screen to Young/George/Restrepo
- Curl route to George
- Slant to Young
- Check down to the Back/TE
That's literally it lol

If we go into 2024 betting the house on Emory, the season is fcked.
