I was surprised he was only 5.4% owned in the Tiers contest. I would've played way more entries had I known haha.

Robinson has shown most of the toolbox. Only thing really missing is the long speed for big runs...but as a grinder who is showing three down capability and can reasonably block...he's really good. Maybe he doesn't breakout right away like he has this year, but he would have eventually emerged. Jaguars should draft a RB next year, but to add to a strength. He's providing far more than Fournette ever would have for this team. Jaguars really could have used a guy like Antonio Gibson in the mid-rounds, too. Someone to catch the football and line up. As is, they are using Laviska Shenault in that role, but he's been very good in the slot and is emerging as the Jaguars WR2.

Don't sleep on Keelan Cole either. Good separation skills and a ball-winner despite his slight build. He and Chark would be much bigger names if Minshew didn't have a popgun arm. I think Devonta Smith projects as somewhere in between Cole and Calvin Ridley as a player. All 3 are proof that there's more to WR than bulk and speed.

Cole is good, but, IMO, he's more of a good hand out of the slot over a feature guy.

The Jaguars have a ton of draft capital, will be in a position to draft one of the top QBs and have a lot of salary to spend. They should start to put more talent around that QB on offense. Similar to what the Bengals did in the draft last year with Burrow, Higgins (quickly becoming Cincy's WR1)...or what the Dolphins did with Tua + OL...or what the Bills did a year after drafting Josh Allen...just loading up on resources to assemble an offense the young QB can succeed in. They already have some good pieces...decent OL, some young stud WRs, and a nice little RB. Just got to hit on the QB. Its all that matters ultimately in the NFL.

Imagine if they got any of the 4 top QBs in the draft and Jordan. Burrow is showing that a sharp distributor QB with pocket skills can sustain an offense when you have multiple dependable receiving threats and run a lot of empty sets. Still they don't have any gamebreakers. Shenault and Jordan bring that element after the catch, and Robinson is more elusive than Mixon imo.

Would also love to see Jordan on the Bengals of course. They're also one of the few teams that fit for Pitts with his narrow yet imposing skillset.

Not a popular opinion here, but Kyle Pitts. I like Brevin Jordan, too...in a post a few months back called him Jonnu Smith. I think thats a good comp for Jordan in the NFL. Both would be nice selections for that team. Young QBs love a good TE.

Would wager real money the Bengals invest heavy in OL this year. A few free agents, premium draft picks. All hands on deck.

Jonah Williams looks alright, but they've missed big on OL in recent years. Price, Ogbuehi, Jake Fisher...all stink and they used 4 R1 picks over the past 5 years and only one looks even decent. Can't be doing that.

John Ross was a slop pick, too.

They have cap space to spend while Burrow is on his rookie deal. They can sign vet linemen and add receiving talent in the draft. You're not gonna find many quality outside WRs in free agency. Corey Davis and the aforementioned K. Cole are the only ones that are compelling.

At TE we know Njoku could be a cheap stud if he ever develops even a modicum of technique. Or the Browns could just keep him in purgatory another year as a $6M backup TE. Gerald Everett would fit too.

The Jags problem isn’t the offense. It’s the defense. The secondary is trash across the board. There’s no depth at LB. They have no more legit pass rush. Allen, Schobert, and Jack are the only good starters on defense. Henderson has flashed but he’s gotta be available. Everyone else is mediocre. You can’t trade away Ramsey, Bouye, Ron, Calais, and Yannick then expect to be decent. Those guys were really good to elite players. Losing Ramsey alone cost them several games last year and changed the entire look of the defense.

The Jags need a starting caliber OG and a QB on offense. Norwell is trash and Cann isn’t developing. The RB situation would be fine is Armstead was healthy. He’s a faster Fournette. Get a QB in the draft and a legit top tier OG who wasn’t undrafted coming out of college, they’ll be good.
Most importantly, it’s wayyyyyy overdue to clean house in management and coaching in Jax.

Kyle Pitts reminds me of a rich man's Mike Gesicki. He won't give you much blocking or after the catch but he will be a contested-catch machine.

Brevin Jordan to me is one of the most complete football players around. He is an excellent receiver (although not as long as Pitts) and a super-quick former youth RB with a 4.2 shuttle. This helps him both after the catch and getting open quickly. He also has a strong lower-body and is willing as a blocker.

Pitts will get drafted higher and can really help a passing game but Brevin is better all-around IF healthy.

Jeremiah had a very interesting comp for Pitts...Darren Waller. That is an emerging player and an emerging player-type in the league.
