If Butch was hired instead of Richt

Dude, he was DC at Texas, did you forget what happened, he only played one team all year w equal talent, OU, how easy should that have been, yet he continously got assraped, then fired

man i love ML, love his humor as well, his recent comments about California were great. I just dont understand why a cat as smart as he is does not realize you CANNOT contend without defense, I would love a sit down with him. I tried to catch up to him when he lived in Key West but never did, for that reason I wouldnt want him as HC but would up my club membership to make him OC

True, but only one of those came with a team NOT recruited in part of whole by Butch. I've never thought Butch a greqat game day coach but Larry frigging Coker won one and got to another with Butch's talent. I'm thing Butch at least does the same if he stayed. Either way, with him you have talent and big time players win big time games. If we had even one big time player on our team this year we are 4-0 and top ten. That is the difference between having Butch or not. Give me the guy who can walk into the living room whip out matching 1st round picks and make Saban his *****.

Imagine Butch as HC, Leach as OC, Butch hires a puppet more less as DC because he is the real DC. With Butch's defense and Leach's offense we would compete with anybody

would love to know how many 1st round DL's Butch is responsible for, **** he had several at UNC for ***s sake, when you can rotate 6 or 7 bad ****'s at DL your gonna do well, Dabo did this as well last year and year before

Butch had a lot, including TWO already in the NFL HOF.

Butch put more kids in the 1st round from 95-2004 (All Butchs kids) than Howard...JJ and Erickson combined....Let that sink in...and was responsible for closing on a Ton of kids from 84-88 in ref to recruiting...

Davis was the very best talent evaluator - ever. Stats prove it.

Davis was one of the very best recruiters - ever, and famous former UM players will tell you the same.

Both characteristics - are characteristics of his knowledge and his very character.

Those don't weaken with the passing of time. He's the same guy.

yes sir ole Tex saw it. When you go back to act 1 when he was here w Jimmy, then act 2 as HC, then the ones from UNC, what would you say, 20 maybe. Thats insane, nobody does that, Saban cant even sniff that and he gets to pay his lol

Didn’t all some of you guys fly the plane on Butch too. A lot of selective memory and people willing to forget his early struggles.

agree, you have it or you dont, reason why Jimmy put him on that, he knew. You prolly remember a few years back Jimmy offered to help the athletic dept with a coach search or whatever it was at the time i cant remember, they declined, ***** idiots. Another point i have made over and over here, Orlando you know, had we hired Butch instead of__________insert coach. We would have gotten Jimmy's services for free, Jimmy-Butch are best buds, have houses in the Keys very close, hang out and talk ball, Jimmy loves This U and would be hangin at practice, watching/evaluatiing on tv every game and giving input to his bud. OMG how does anybody *** that up, that lifetime opportunity, only the UM banana republic could do that. You think Bama, Ga, Tx, **** anybody, would not jump on that w both feet, you bet your *** they would

From 2008 to 2014 – Davis was the head coach from 2007 through 2010 – no school in the ACC had more players selected in the first round than UNC
He left them full for four years after he moved on. Just like he did at Miami TWICE

We would be back on probation or facing the death penalty if Butch was hired again. But at this point, it's worth a shot. Horrible game day coach and all.

there was a plane flown yes, not me though, i dont know what those idiots expected from a team minus 35 ships and on probation. I would be all in on something to run off BJ though
