If Butch was hired instead of Richt

I don't know if it's a lazy hire, but you can guarantee we won't even sniff the playoffs with Mario as HC. If mediocrity is the goal, might as well bring back Shannon and save a few bucks on moving expenses.

hes a top 100 player that almost no other P5 schools wants. we are taking him because manny cant recruit.

if manny is willing to fire the defensive staff and hire a guy like schiano or leavitt, id take him serious

DUDE guy gets it. Butch from what I heard had almost his whole staff ready to go same day if he were to be hired. I also heard that most of the big boy South Florida hs coaches were down with him getting the nod. For those who dont know thats a huge thing to have for our head coach.

Like many have stated his eye for talent was unreal and I feel strongly that right now at this moment we would be talking about being in the playoff discussions. One things for sure I feel 100% sure that we would not be starting 2 true freshman and 2 red shirt freshman on the o-line.

this is all pretty true. plus butch loves hood rats. he isnt recruiting chantz williams. he recruiting goons


fyi im prolly older than you dummy. butch is done. no one touched him with a ten foot pole when he was out there. i watched butch growing up jut as you did jackass. maybe when you take his nuts out of your mouth, you'll realize that.

you know what, maybe butch wouldnt have worked out but i would have rather tried him again than this ****show for the last nearly 20 years.

id be fine if manny just took over the D again. the O has been a big issue going back to the richt era obviously and continues to be bad. i trust manny will fix the D one way or the other. i don't trust Enos will adapt to the current talent on the team tho

i was never in love with mannys defense because almost all the good OC's we played since he's been here have picked him apart

true, but nowadays, all Ds, even elite ones, get beat. Bama hasn't been good on D against good Os in 2 years now (the stats are actually insane)

Manny's D would be fine if he could recruit & develop. If Manny were calling plays with LSU or UGA's talent... Sheesh! Thats why we NEVER should have hired Manny, besides a total lack of experience, he cant recruit.

he had all his success with golden holdovers. he cant even turn his own kids into NFL players.

Bro, most those AG guys were total scrubs until he got there. We should have never hired him as HC, but give the man his credit for our D scheme. Honestly we miss Kul & Simpson on the DL. Isnt Kul available? Idgaf if he doesnt recruit anymore, bring him back right now.

well our DL masked alot of our deficiencies. Both those guys were better than what i see now. it's horrible
i rather have rick petri again lol

Isnt Kuligowski available? I'm serious we are seriously lacking havoc up front. Bring him in during the bye week. In the off season we can find a guy to help him recruit.
