I'd hate to think we threw the season away........

Feagles was a bigger reason we lost and then some bone headed penalties. I believe LSU extended 2 drives on 4th down defensive penalties by us.

We played pretty bad in that game overall.

It'd have been nice to know though. Instead of having to speculate.

Exactly.

Does Perry look good? Yes. But compiling so-so stats against FIU and UNC is a whole different story than going against LSU in the first game of the season at a neutral site.
 
Guy pumps the brakes.
UNC is awful. Without the defensive TD's, we were in trouble in the first half.
 
Maybe Perry had his head up his *** and the suspension woke him up and got his mind right.

We have no idea why it happened and the effect it had. Second guessing it now is stupid.
 
There's nothing we can do about that now, but...
we can hope that the playoff committee, IF we're in that position, is thinking the same way you are.

Maybe Miami beats LSU with Perry at QB?

We have a lot of football left.
Hopefully we'll be enjoying multiple 30+ point wins.
 
Not so sure we beat them but Kosi makes some of those throws that Malik missed.

12 left a lot of plays on the field that night.

Exactly. Perry wouldnt have changed the terrible punts, the backbreaking penalties, the early missed fumble recovery, the dropped INT, the defensive lapse that lead to the 55yd run, or the early missed FG. Take those away and we win that night even with Malik under center.

Agree, to a point, on pumping the brakes but
without the personal foul on 4th down, they do not score a touchdown.

Defensive TD's= limited possesions for us.
We punted once in 5 possesions.
I'll take it.

Week one loss to a ranked team isn't a disqualifier. But we have to run the table.

I dont think Perry would've beaten LSU his first start but its probably a close game. Perry still should have started the season I agree there.

The play is long over, we've made the stop, bout to get the ball back with the crowd on fire and chance to go up 21-3... and Willis decides to do a shoot a pistol hand motion at a UNC guy right in front of the ref. Boom, instant flag and first down! It literally doesn't get any dumber than that.
