So in N'Kosi Perry's first start, he gains 150 yards of total offense and turns the ball over twice. And that was at home against North Carolina. But if his first start was against LSU, though, we would have won that game.
Makes perfect sense.

This site is schizophrenic sometimes.
Exactly. Perry wouldnt have changed the terrible punts, the backbreaking penalties, the early missed fumble recovery, the dropped INT, the defensive lapse that lead to the 55yd run, or the early missed FG. Take those away and we win that night even with Malik under center.Exactly.
Does Perry look good? Yes. But compiling so-so stats against FIU and UNC is a whole different story than going against LSU in the first game of the season at a neutral site.
We will never know who would have won that game with Perry and Spicer starting will we?
It'd have been nice to know though. Instead of having to speculate.
Guy pumps the brakes.
UNC is awful. Without the defensive TD's, we were in trouble in the first half.
That bonehead Willis play stopped that game from being a start to finish ND'esque beatdown.Agree, to a point, on pumping the brakes, but
without the personal foul on 4th down, they do not score a touchdown.
We lost that game because of Rosier and Feagles
At the very least it’s a close game if we played them again
The trolls have a hard time coming up with new content after a 47-10 win, so you get stuck with threads like this.
Didn't see what happened from the stands. That bonehead Willis play stopped that game from being a start to finish ND'esque beatdown.
The play is long over, we've made the stop, bout to get the ball back with the crowd on fire and chance to go up 21-3... and Willis decides to do a shoot a pistol hand motion at a UNC guy right in front of the ref. Boom, instant flag and first down! It literally doesn't get any dumber than that.Didn't see what happened from the stands.
Valid call?
