I'd hate to think we threw the season away........

By trying to prove some weak *** point to Perry by suspending him for LSU.

Kid should have played every single snap at QB1 this season.
There's a high probability that LSU decision is gonna come back to haunt us guaranteed.
There are ways to discipline a kid without throwing your whole season down the toilet and ******* all the other players on the rooster and the fans to boot!

This was a sad case of Mork Rich throwing the baby out with the bath water.
Cutting off his nose to spite his face.
Probably going to end up hoisted by his own petard.

Maybe instead of blaming Richt you blame Perry for putting himself and his teammates in that position by getting himself suspended for a game.

This sounds like an argument a millennial would make. It's not my fault......its everyone else's

If Richt made the rule or made the threat, he had to follow through with it. If you don't follow through with kids, they won't listen or respect you later.

If you reward bad behavior, you get bad behavior.
This. I still don't know what Perry did, but I actually respect CMR for being the type of coach who has the testicular fortitude to bench a potentially key guy in a big game when he does dumb sh-t.

If you reward bad behavior, you get bad behavior.

By the same token. If you play schitty players you get schitty results.

Jimmy Johnson said "There are different rules for different players". I'm gonna ride with that wisdom until proven otherwise.

Didn't see what happened from the stands.
Valid call?
Bandy got lucky on that same play that he didn’t get ejected for throwing a punch after the play. Looked like Willis made a gun gesture with his fingers in the face of a UNC player as he was walking off the field. If it wasn’t a gun gesture, then it was a bullshyt call. But they probably threw the flag to calm things down after not flagging Bandy for punching.

That game has zero impact on this season. We win out we go to the playoffs. I don’t see a scenario where we could have gone 11-1 and snuck in the back door like Bama if we beat LSU and lost to Clemson. Let’s worry about FSU and we can bring this back up after the season is over. There are a lot of games left to be played.

We won't go the playoffs if we win out and Alabama does too.

The backup freshmans QB, who hadn’t thrown a pass yet, probably wouldn’t get the Jimmy Johnson preferential star treatment.

We will never know who would have won that game with Perry and Spicer starting will we?

It'd have been nice to know though. Instead of having to speculate.

Right, then the story would be that Richt should have played his experienced senior QB. What was he thinking throwing a redshirt freshman QB out there at night on the road? Terrible roster management.

Or are you going to pretend you would have just said "at least now we know"?

How many times did I say #AnyoneButRosier throughout the whole off-season?

Huh? If we win out we go to the playoffs as the ACC champion. The you have the SEc champion, bIG champion and likely Oklahoma. What are you taking about?

You obviously don't know how the selection committee nor the playoffs work. Get back to me after you do a little research kid.

That theory falls apart when Rosier started the three games.
If the reason Perry didn’t start against LSU is because he was suspended for that game then he would have started the next game after the suspension was over.

We lost that game because of Rosier and Feagles

At the very least it’s a close game if we played them again
...and a WHOLE lot of really stupid penalties. We extended their drives and bogged ours down with penalties that entire game. We outgained them on offense but had almost 100 yards of penalties, most at the worst possible times.

Yeah, you've really got a great understanding of the committee.

If Alabama runs the table, Miami can't make the playoffs.

That's a real gem right there.
