I was really hoping to wake up this morning with news. No one has heard anything about Diaz getting fired?

Manny Diaz isn't getting fired after two nail-biting wins that have him 2-4 instead of 4-2. He will be fired Halloween morning after Pittsburgh wrecks him, a week after North Carolina State beats him down.

Miami will be 2-6 at that point—2-8 in his previous ten games—his lone wins coming with a last-minute field goal against Appalachian State and a beatdown of sorry-*** Central Connecticut State.

The "beauty" in these two losses was stealing any comeback narrative and puffed up, smoke and mirrors 4-2 start.

Any real fan of this program should be completely satisfied with the fight these kids showed the past two games (while fuming that this team is so sloppy, slow to get started and can't close), yet losing.

The long-term is more important than any short-term satisfaction and the ONLY way Miami is going to get rid of Diaz is if the bottom completely falls out.

We need the Canes 2-6 in two weeks—not 4-4 with a few last-second wins these past few weeks.

Be patient. It is finished.

Off a win against ranked Florida, coach O is out at seasons end from LSU yet Manny still hasn't been fired. We are so far behind big time football it's embarrassing.

Probably do it after we are no longer bowl eligible I guess would be the logic. They need to get rid of him now, his coaching of missing tackles is just starting to infect James Williams now!

I don’t agree with this. May give us a chance to salvage some recruiting. At this point everyone knows the shop is sinking, at least let them know there m be a new captain steering it next season.
Exactly. It’s what smart programs do, insert LSU here. Meanwhile, Miami BOT sits back and does nothing…

I wish the ACC could threaten Miami. When we brought you into the conference we thought you would raise the profile of the conference. You have failed. You are no longer valuable, you arent wanted here.
LMFAO at this fan fiction nonsense. Do you realize how bad you have to be to get booted from a conference.? You have to be Temple in the Big East bad. Miami is mediocre, and while that's frustrating to us, it's the least of the ACC's worries.

I said i wish. I understand perfectly that Miami is in no serious jeopardy. Its partly Miami’s fault that the ACC needs an “alliance” lol

Listen, it's time we start listening to mainstream reporters on this and not "insiders." They have been consistent that he will be here until the end of the season unless the team quits. They haven't. Obviously, the worst AD in America, Blake James does not want to fire little Manny. He loves him like a brother. So, the decision should be made for him. I personally am starting to think if Manny goes 2-6, but then bounces back and wins 4 in a row to go 6-6 with all young players, the narrative this lispy toad will use is that we have turned the corner and we can rely on youth going forward with his sissy *** at the helm. Blake James, an even bigger sissy, will buy it and bring him back for 2022. I'm telling you, everyday this goes on and he remains head coach, I'm certain that this is the likely outcome. We're f**ked.
Even the “insiders” say he’s here all year
