Grassy merged or became scout.com Miami. Bomb, Moni, the Sisters, Faux Chef, etc led to the downfall of Grassy / Scout. Some people also split off to do their own site besides this one. Canesforever Randy put something together and FSUWho did as well. Shadows board went downhill after Laus passed away. This site though persevered and is the last one standing from those days.

Randy had the canesovahere.com site. Alot of us degenerates left Grassy and joined up there. The threads trashing NJ2FLACane were epic. BurtReynoldsisBald had some legendary posts as well. My nick was "highsidin" at the time.

Been a fan and season ticket holder for over 40+ years.

I’ve been a member of shadow board, grassy, canesport, real cane talk and a couple of others. Funny thing is this board sometimes reminds me of Real Cane Talk (I see several members from that board and shadow in here) on how much some cats start trippin except those dudes on RCT wanted to take that craziness to the streets.

Anyways, I’ve been a long time watcher of the this board ever since real cane and shadow board shutdown…Kind of ****ed me when I saw canester95 with my handle 😔 but it’s all good 😎

There was a MAUDE on Grassy who loved his job way too much , he was constantly harassing everyone.

Can’t remember his call sign name , any ideas whom were some of the MAUDES back then?

I joined scout for mostly high school football chat. They had good boards for Georgia High School football.

I then started following Miami on CanesTime around 2006. I don’t post much and was mostly a lurker.

After the raids and the banning I messaged D$ and told him I could setup some forums. I figured it wouldn’t be longed lived but maybe I could get some non-public recruiting info.

The board was started on October 12th (my join date) and Danny opened the doors on 11/2.

We’ve come a long ways since we started. I remember the forums crashing with 700 users online. We had 7,500 online during the Ole Miss game.

The rumor with Footballcane was he either was close with Clint Hurt or WAS Clint Hurt.
 
Bryan "grassy" Knoll was from kalamzoo Mich. Met up with him in marshall with his wife and drove down to Miami for the 2003 orange bowl 24 hours straight nonstop. Met a bunch of guys at the tail gate that year. k9 cane, canes forever, danny boy, mike bakas, antrell rolle mom and dad who used to post on grassy, lamar thomas (we raced in a parking gagarge) buchanon , mike langley etc etc and numerous others. great time

Grassy.com (Brian Knoll). It was cryptic, but so much fun. Musta started with about 20 people. Rikki Sixx, Augie Dog, The Celibate Seven - having get togethers before games, etc..

Especially funny was you could post anonymously with whatever username you wanted so you would have people posting as Larry Coker, Michael Irvin, etc.. lol
