We're the perfect program to punish. A nationally known brand, but not a blue-blood nor a program whose sanction or death penalty would mess around with the national championship. The NCAA can go after Miami to "prove" that they are overseeing all programs, when in reality they ignore coaches leasing cars to players or athletes posting pictures of giants wads of cash the same day that they faxed in their letters of acceptance.

I’m referring to players who played here two yrs or more. We’ve all seen guys flash 1st yr under this scheme, but it appears by yr 2, the same production is not there, and by yr 3, the dip in production is precipitous.

Yeah now he burns a timeout to set up a futile stop from the 1 foot line when maybe, just maybe, 4th and 14 might have been a better time.

This sounds like if (and that is a very big "if") Manny gets fired, then we will have his replacement unofficially on the hook. It will not be one of those "fire the coach and then begin the national search" type replacements. We will have our guy and then make a move. If we can't get a big fish, we live with mediocrity for another year.

Exactly why I think he’s not gone for sure. To have any hope of finding an improvement, we need to know before manny is fired, otherwise we’ll be left out in the cold with a meh hire
