I tried to tell ya

Mid day on a sunday is when u usually hear news. If he aint gone its a riot. Im done with this guy.

This was the same exact **** show it’s been all year the only thing that’s changed is a Fr quarterback was playing like a god. He was covering up the awful defense and coaching. Tonight he played like a mortal and you saw what happened…..Mannys defense did what it does.

All the super fans told me Travis sucks and I said it doesn’t matter , we make average qb’s look great. This trash qb started 10-11 for 144 in the first half then looked like Mahomes the last two drives.

If you know anything about football you knew this was all a mirage and nothing had changed. All the delusional super fans down voting my truth bombs learned a valuable lesson.

When you need a freshman QB (who is talented we all agree), to play like dan marino just to keep you in the game, then clearly the problem is elsewhere and not going away

Absolutely. He's well regarded as being innovative with his scheme inside of a base 3-4. For several reasons (one of which being that 3-4) I'd look elsewhere. I just want fundamentally sound power football on the defensive side of the ball.
Don’t we want a team that plays tough led by someone well regarded and and innovative though?

Lining up and just smacking people in the face is great but you better recruit like Georgia to pull that off against the big boys. Even Saban had to adapt, innovate and diversify from bullyball to stay ahead

He’s been rumored for the Domer job for some time. SC has the money to get him out to LA. He’s cratering in Jacksonville.
Ya it’s a disaster at Jacksonville I’m sure he’ll come back to college football but I never heard the Notre dame rumor with actual legs to it. If he went to usc they would be playing in the playoff in probably 1-2 years

He’s regressed mightily just like Bandy did by yr 3.

I’m trying to think of any player outside of Shaq (and that’s questionable) who actually got better under Diaz’s tutelage.
Maybe Redwin but that’s when he was put back at his natural position.

I’ve been saying for a while and this my main reason I gave up on Manny and stop blaming the kids. He has never max out anyone potential while being here.

manny being gone at the behest of losing to FSU still hurts. Even though this is a program changing development. I want to add a silver lining and praise C. smith (41) guy played so **** well.
It was so frustrating because the few times 41 was in you could see he was making an impact....but our genius coach would pull him out right away.

Well if we're sticking to guys we can legit hire than why are people even discussing kiffin in the first place? Whether people fail to admit it or not they're a better job than us in this immediate future. Kiffin to go along with sec recruiting budgets and sec bias is a dangerous pairing. It just comes down to did he learn his short comings from his Tennessee days and adapt with them. But is what it is. I'm done one this topic cause we're not QUITE at that point just yet.
@Brooklyndee I don’t know if you had mentioned it in the past, but who are some names you would have at the top of your list for HC?

Both are aiming a lot bigger than him, some would say both are unrealistic. Maybe his name pops up after they start crossing off names , especially Lsu for obvious reasons
If you're referring to Jimbo and/or Riley, I don't see either making a move. Regarding USC, Nick Bowes is a buddy of mine and I know Aranda is highly regarded within that athletic department. How high is he on their list? I don't know but beating Lincoln Riley (in all three phases and with a terrible quarterback) this past week didn't hurt him.

Apparently he turned down the Miss. St, South Carolina and Auburn jobs (I assume an interview for).

I guess he's sat on the LSU job? Or he thinks he can elevate Louisiana?
Heard him being rumored for VT so not quite sure what’s going on there.

I know coach and he would prefer Miami to usc if all things were equal.. but they aren’t

I've been preaching this for weeks now on my blog.

Miracle performances from TVD saved Miami the past three weeks.

Just because Miami won close games against NC State, Pitt and Georgia Tech—or lost close ones to UVA, UNC and now FSU—it was the still the same garbage product rolled out onto the field.

Mistakes. Mental errors. Dropped balls. Turnovers. Sub-par play calling. Poor defensive execution. Slow starts. Everything from UVA through last night as been one long football game—a few wins stolen, a few given away—but it's been lipstick on a pig all year.

Garbage defense and zero power running game was going to come back to haunt the Canes at some point—and of course it took place in a must-win game against a bad FSU team.

Would rather be 3-7 right now with a win over the Noles, than 5-5 with meaningless wins over Pitt, NC State and GT.

Brooklyndee, you have more insight and have shed blood and tears for this program. Let me ask you: You are the AD, who’s the 1st person you call for the HC position??

Back in 2019 I asked you if it was possible for the program to turn around and you answered something to the effect that under these 3 clowns, the answer was no.

So I'll ask now, would Kiffin work with Highsmith as a 100% football AD? Would that keep us out of trouble?
Would we win or would we stay out of trouble? If winning is all that matters in the short term, than **** yes we would win. Would we get a ton of issues in that same time span? The answer is also **** yes...
