It’s unbelievable, right!?!?!Wait, there were actually people on this board that didn’t already know this? It was obvious to anyone paying attention that TVD saved Manny’s *** the previous 3 games.

And Mario? - nothing about Bama or Oregon sounds squeaky clean. It's one thing to get away with stuff. It's another to be clean. I've known lane for about 10 years now and I know some of the stuff he's doing he's been able to get away with cause it's been done at programs that the NCAA has been passive about. Nothing about us and the NCAA will they be passive towards. What they shoot away elsewhere they crack the whip towards on us. Especially when there's a compliance department like ours that would happily send us in... I'll stick with death penalty. No thanks.
Is Aranda gimmicky?Nah. No more smartest guys in the room please. Aranda for sure would make us tougher. But I want someone who is gonna make us more physical and isn't about gimmicks. Simply lining up and smacking the dude across from you in his ****. Whoop his *** then tell him I'll see you at dinner when ur momma cooks for us.
Redwine, Jaelan Phillips...He’s regressed mightily just like Bandy did by yr 3.
I’m trying to think of any player outside of Shaq (and that’s questionable) who actually got better under Diaz’s tutelage.
We're the perfect program to punish. A nationally known brand, but not a blue-blood nor a program whose sanction or death penalty would mess around with the national championship. The NCAA can go after Miami to "prove" that they are overseeing all programs, when in reality they ignore coaches leasing cars to players or athletes posting pictures of giants wads of cash the same day that they faxed in their letters of acceptance. It's one thing to get away with stuff. I would imagine he meant in financial support for the football operation.Equal in what sense?
I’m referring to players who played here two yrs or more. We’ve all seen guys flash 1st yr under this scheme, but it appears by yr 2, the same production is not there, and by yr 3, the dip in production is precipitous.Redwine, Jaelan Phillips...
That might be it. Definately not any LBS which is his specialty
at the end of the day -- football is still football, and the guiding principles(tackling, blocking, catching) will never change
And we’ve been **** poor in those categories. Means time for a change.at the end of the day -- football is still football, and the guiding principles(tackling, blocking, catching) will never change
Yeah now he burns a timeout to set up a futile stop from the 1 foot line when maybe, just maybe, 4th and 14 might have been a better time.Manny didn’t allow him to or he probably does if Manny let’s FSU score. You get the ball with 1 minute and 2 Time Outs.
But Manny burns a time out immediately after an officials review to set up the defense, lol.
Lane is worthless without his offense, and you’re going to take that away and still hire him? Do you work at Miami? What do you mean how? Lane would be the HC and be the CEO. Lashlee would remain as OC. What’s so hard to understand about that Corky?
Exactly why I think he’s not gone for sure. To have any hope of finding an improvement, we need to know before manny is fired, otherwise we’ll be left out in the cold with a meh hireThis scares the crap out of me. Does this mean if Mario says "no" then we might keep Manny for another year? Would Mario and say Kiffin and Stoops also have to turn the job down before firing Manny?
This sounds like if (and that is a very big "if") Manny gets fired, then we will have his replacement unofficially on the hook. It will not be one of those "fire the coach and then begin the national search" type replacements. We will have our guy and then make a move. If we can't get a big fish, we live with mediocrity for another year.
Tick tock..
And with Blake gone what candidates is it possible we could swingMario, Mario and Mario. If Blake is still here than no legit name has interest.
