I think Enos may be done

The rumor was posted by Lauzardo who is CutlerRidgeLaz for those of you who listen to WQAM. He is an epic tailgater. The source was through a friend of his. Gary Ferman locked the thread so who knows, but in the past he has locked threads with information that could be true that they don't want leaking.

When some of us wanted Fedora or Applewhite there was some discussion Applewhite could bring QB Buechele in from Texas. He is their QB

We would be very lucky if Lashlee ended up here as our OC. Sonny Dykes brought in Lashee to improve the running game to go along with his air raid. Lashlee calls the plays and they run a 50/50 run/pass spread with a dual threat QB, which has been sorely needed at the U for about 15 years.

Here are SMU's offensive per game averages:
79 plays a game for 495 yards per game
38 passing attempts for 309 yards per game
41 running attempts for 186 yards per game
QB completes 62% of his passes

The only insider thing that Laz knows is inside a bank vault

SMU passing offense ranked 12th
Miami '' '' ''' Ranked 42nd

SMU Scoring Offense tied for 6th (with UCF)
Miami " " " Ranked 73rd (tied with BYU and NEB)

SMU 4th down conversion ranked 5th
Miami " " " ranked 75th

SMU 1st down conversion ranked 16th
Miami " " "ranked 89th

So SMU offensive production was statistically better.

3rd down?

Objectively speaking, Manny is a smart guy. His past shows that he makes adjustments (fewer and better fire blitzes). He said we can't be last in anything at the U. He knows he has almost lost the fan base, if not lost them altogether. If he has a shred of self-awareness and self-survival instincts and wants to have a future as a HBC, he has to know that Enos did not work and must go. This is Manny's most important test. I hope he passes with flying colors.

If what you guys say is true then This guy would put martell at shotgun day 1. We don’t have another dual threat qb. We basically erased our qb recruiting board.
But if we’re so smart on here why does uga want enos ?
What would happen here if they start dropping 50 on everybody with a guy that people were praying to all the saints to leave.
Because UGa has and can recruit an elite offensive line and WE CANNOT! Idk how many times this has to be said on here before some people still holding on to the past can see the ******* reality! And regardless of wether UGa offense gets a little better under Enos it won’t ******* matter when LSU and Bama are running a spread all over them and beating there @ss. Facts!

But I thought talent wasn’t the issue according to cis offensive play calling gurus
It is the issue depending on what scheme your run!!! Get your head out the sand and look around. The spread is the great equalizer! Pro set needs an elite offensive line and a spread does not! Case in point Clemson, been in the playoffs 5 straight years with 2 titles and probable 3rd this year and have had one lineman drafted the last ten years. And even with an elite line the pro set just can’t put up enough points in how this game is now with the way defenses are handicapped. Pro style ball control and great defense doesn’t work anymore because that kind of defense equals 15 yard personnel fouls. Smh

Dude I’m in no way in the enos train. I’m just wondering why bama and uga both wanted or want enos. That’s all.
I’m just wondering this spread that everyone talks about is it something that everyone runs and are there variations to it. Cause I don’t want anything to do with what FSU ran last year nor what that Baylor team from from 2012-2013 ran. If Clemson runs a spread it sure as **** doesn’t look anything like those two examples.
Do I want mark pope and jt4 in space he’ll yeah. Am I opposed to running that smu offense? He’ll no.
Just wondering the love affair top programs have with enos and if it’s a legit term goal.
Unfortunately elite offensive linemen aren’t coming here anytime soon and the answer does lie in the spread.
Didn’t urban Meyer say he ran a “power spread”.

And that’s why there are many different spreads. Baylor under briles ran an air raid style but that’s not the kind of spread I think would work best here because we can get elite running backs. What Miami needs like 10 years ago Is a power zone spread which is a really a power running offense, not passing like the air raid is. Think UF under Mullen and urban. OSU under urban and now DAy. That kind of scheme still protects lineman that aren’t as talented but also helps the run game immensely by spreading everyone out because there’s less defenders in the box. It also helps the olinemen because less defenders in the box means less people you have to account for on blitzes and stuff. It’s just the way to go now with how defensive football has been handicapped. That system down here with our speed and advantage at the skill spots would have us Annually In the ACC title game.
