Notre Dame is eligible for any ACC bowl tie-in as long as it’s within one game of the team eligible for the slot.per ACC’s website
The Capital One Orange Bowl will host the ACC Champion (or highest ranked ACC team not ranked in the top four against the highest ranked available team from the Big Ten, SEC or Notre Dame following team selection by the Rose (Big Ten) and Sugar (SEC) bowls.
I was wrong on the at large or ND part but we’d need to be ranked higher than Wake Forest. Wonder what the criteria is if neither of us is ranked.
That would be interesting.
Bring on the Patriots
Notre Dame don’t want no part of MiamiNotre Dame would be nice.
We would kick their *** all over again.
Legit rumblings? That would be AWESOME!That would be interesting.
**** that !!!! I want to do to them what we just did to Louisville. No more Whisky please
I’d love some ****** payback on KSU.Assuming we finish 8-4, I think some great matchups for us would be K State, USC or Indiana.
If we lose to a team full of Indiana athletes, fold the program.Indiana would be a bad match up. They are good and if we lost it would kill us. USC is the game I want. We could kill them and maybe influence Flowe.
So when you say "K State" I assume you mean Kentucky State right? Because I don't like the look of these guys...Assuming we finish 8-4, I think some great matchups for us would be K State, USC or Indiana.
One game at a time. We could be 7-5 going in, or by some freak **** 6-6.For the last umpteen years, I've just been hoping for an underserved win, but the way we're playing and with a (hopefully) 8-4 record, I'd like the toughest possible opponent they're willing to give a rising 8-4 runner up in the Coastal. Love to take on Wisky one more time, but there's no way they'll do it.
Maybe a resurgent or trying to resurge power like USCw. Already looking forward to a bowl W and an exciting offseason!

So far he's 0-2 against his crazy ex-girlfriends. Maybe USC would be a better choice.Texas would be nuts.
Diaz has faced off against Mullen at FSU, Mack Brown at UNC, and Texas would be the school that fired him.
It's like Diaz is getting visted by all his crazy ex-girlfriends...at the same time.
Doesn't the OB have to take an ACC team? Then most likely the only available ACC team with less than 4 losses will be Wake who will have 3 losses so not a big difference. VT/UVA already have 3 losses. One has to lose to the other and the one that wins will lose to Clemson. Pitt will lose again as wellWould love to see that. Only way I see that happening is if we win the ACC. I know the OB committee wants to get a matchup that sells out and gets attention but they'd get a lot of sh#t for taking an 8-4 team.
