I love d$ but I hope he’s off the arch love fest after this…

Great game to watch. Some big mistakes late. Needs to be turn the flashes into consistency.
His throwing mechanics are a train wreck. He consistently misses wide open short/intermediate throws that decent HS QB's make with 90% consistency.

He isn't a 2nd year player. Manning's in his 4th year at Texas. He's had the best QB coaching money can buy since he was in his crib. He is what he is.

Yup. Strong arm, tall, mobile, plus the name. People fall in love with those QB traits. But they don't necessarily make you a good QB.

IMO he doesn't process quick enough and that's unlike to change at this point.
He misses easy throws constantly cause his throwing mechanics are a train wreck. If he was gonna get better he would have. He's been receiving elite QB coaching since he was a kid.

I get that people want him to be great cause of his name but.........he's not. Get over it.

Maybe Sark just isn't that good. He had another #1 QB in Ewers previously and he also looked mid af.
I've heard that Sark isn't really allowed to consider other options. Boosters are in love with Manning.

Ewers was always overrated. He was coached by Riley Dodge, son of Texas HS coaching legend and QB whisperer Todd Dodge, in Southlake Carrols very advanced HS offense. He looked great for his age but the physical tools were never all that impressive. He wasn't bad but........was just never gonna be a future NFL starter. Sark did okay with him. About as well as could be expected.

How dare you criticize Uncle Rico’s mechanics.

Guy looks like he should be playing for one of those run heavy GT teams with a sneaky decent QB. Gonna get some idiot fired in the NFL thanks to his last name

If his name wasn’t Manning, the conversation drastically changes. That’s a tough crown for Arch to carry. It’s not easy being under the spotlight like that

Arch is your average CFB QB with a good arm. They are all over the place. A couple nice passes here and there but then inconsistent. We see it all over CFB.

If it continues like this for Arch why not stay another year and try to boost his stock?

He obviously doesn't need the money.

Seems like his stock is dropping the longer he stays. His stock was highest before he ever started a game. It’s been downhill since.
It still might work out for him to be a first rounder, in DMoney defense.

GM’s care whole lot more about the name and “how it looks” than actual performance.

If his last name wasn’t manning he’d have been benched awhile ago…

Dude has two hall of fame uncles that he can pick their brains when he wants

Has grown up under their guidance with every available resource

Is at Texas with every resource that any football program at any level can ever ask for

Has weapons that every college team would love in Coleman and Wingo

Oh and is under a supposed offensive guru in sark..,

Kid ain’t got it… Apple fell far from the tree
Can Coleman cost himself serious money transferring to Texas. GMs are going to fall all over themselves to make Arch’s lack of processing power Cam’s fault

Arch has got the physical talent like alot of qbs, except he has nothing upstairs and makes horrible decisions. He will be a bust for whoever makes the mistake to draft him early. He is at best a 3rd or 4th round pick. The most overrated college qb since Ryan Leaf.

Cam is going first round, great WR, my take on Texas is great defense, great WR's and a very overrated QB.

This is what you say about a freshman starting at quarterback, not a guy that’s been in the program for four years. Come on D, it’s time to let it go!
